We bless the name of the almighty God of heaven and earth. The one who has helped us thus far. I want to thank him for what he has done already.

 

In this great program, even in 2024, National Easter Retreat of the Watchman Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement. Thank him for everything that he has done. And we know that when he begins, He will surely make an end.

 

And so I welcome you once more into this program. Assuring you that the Lord will visit you today. God will bless you.

Revive us again. It is time for you to open your mouth and ask the Lord to revive you again. Because this day the Lord is about to visit somebody.

 

And the Lord is about to quicken somebody. And the Lord is about to resurrect somebody. And so ask the Lord with all your heart.

 

To quicken you. To revive you. To resurrect you.

 

And to help you to stand again. Open your mouth. Pray to the Lord God of heaven.

 

And so precious father we come before you. We come before the father of all creation. We come before the governor among the nations.

 

We come before the possessor of heaven and earth. We come before the God of the spirit of all flesh. For in you we live.

 

In you we move. In you we have our being. Without you we can do nothing.

 

But with you we can do all things. And so we come before you looking up unto you dependable father. We your dependent children are looking up unto you.

 

Knowing that you are our helper. You are our strength. You are the one who will succor us.

 

Knowing that if you fail to do it Lord then we are done for. But this blessed day we look up unto you. Lord you can see the winds that are blowing.

 

Lord you can see the tempest. You can see the earthquakes. You can see how things are going here on earth.

 

Which thing has affected your people negatively. But Lord we are looking up unto you. Believing you that this time around you will help us like never before.

 

We need you not just every hour. Not just every minute. We need you every second.

 

Therefore great father come on board. Come and help your people. Come and help your feeble children precious father.

 

For we are depending on you. Therefore this day come. Help us more than ever before.

 

Because as the days go by the wicked ones are doing their worst as it were. And as they go on doing their worst Lord. We need you Lord by our side.

 

So come dear Lord. Help each and every one of us today. So that no matter what the enemies are doing.

 

After they would have done their worst. They will see us still standing. Following the Lord.

 

Serving the Lord. Even all the days of our life. Eternal spirit of God.

 

Come and have your way now. Glorify Jesus in the end. In Jesus mighty name we pray.

 

Amen. As you get seated. I want you to open your Bibles to Isaiah chapter number 40.

 

Isaiah chapter 40. I read verse number 28. As thou not known.

 

As thou not heard. That the everlasting God. The creator.

 

The Lord. The creator of the ends of the earth. Penteth not.

 

Neither is weary. There is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to defend.

 

And to them that have no might. He increases strength. Even the youth shall faint.

 

And be weary. And the young men shall utterly fall. But they that wait upon the Lord.

 

Shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run.

 

And not be weary. And they shall walk. And not faint.

 

Chapter 41. Verse 1. Keep silence before me. O islands.

 

And let the people renew their strength. Let them come near. Then let them speak.

 

Let us come near. Together. To judgment.

 

The prophet at this point in time began to prophesy the restoration. That was coming. To these people of God.

 

Began in verse 1. Saying comfort ye. Comfort ye my people. Comfort ye.

 

To them. That was his word. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem.

 

Cry unto her. That her warfare is accomplished. That her iniquity is pardoned.

 

For she had received of the lost hand. Trouble for all her sins. The prophecy had gone forth.

 

That they will go into captivity. And they will be in Babylon. And after some time the Lord will visit.

 

And when the Lord visits. He will comfort them. He will help them.

 

And so he began to show. The things that the Lord will do. He began to show.

 

The way that the Lord will take them. And he began to show. The blessings that will come their way.

 

But the people were wondering. How can it be? The people were saying in verse 27. God was not speaking to them.

 

Why sayest thou O Jacob. And speaketh O Israel. My way is hid from the Lord.

 

And my judgment is passed over from my God. Why are you saying that? Don’t you know who I am? How are you saying that. Your ways are hid from me.

 

Why are you saying that? Don’t you know who I am? And then from verse 28. He began to ask them. Has thou not known.

 

Has thou not heard. That. The everlasting God.

 

He began to introduce himself. And began to show his attributes. That he is the everlasting God.

 

The one who has born from eternity past. And the one who will be till eternity. And then he will remain the same.

 

No decay. He will remain the same. He will not change.

 

He will not grow weak. He will not grow weary. He said don’t you know.

 

That I am the everlasting God. I am the Lord. The creator of the ends of the earth.

 

Don’t you know that I. The almighty God. I don’t faint. I cannot be weary.

 

There is no searching of my understanding. Look at who I am. Look at what.

 

I can do. Look at what I have planned to do. And it is that.

 

I give it power. To defend. And to them that have no might.

 

I will increase their strength. Yes you have fainted. You are wearied.

 

Exhausted. Tired. Because of the afflictions.

 

Because of the problem. Because of the thing that bedeviled you. But take note.

 

I am he. I give it power. To defend.

 

And to them that have no might. I will increase their strength. And so it is from these verses.

 

Of the scriptures. That we are bringing. God’s word unto us.

 

I told he give it power. To defend. He give it power.

 

To defend. Defend is the person. That is feeble.

 

Weary. Fatigued. Exhausted.

 

God says. I am the one. I give power.

 

To defend. Now. We are living in the last days.

 

When the devils. And their cohorts. Are brought out as it were.

 

All that they have. In their arsenals. All their weapons.

 

They have brought it out. And their aim. Is to drag all men.

 

Including true children. Of God. Into damnation.

 

If possible. That is exactly. What the devils.

 

Are after. And they have their vision. Their vision is three pronged.

 

One. To keep the unsaved. In their unsaved.

 

Condition or situation. Till the end. They will not want.

 

The unsaved. To get free. They will not want.

 

The unsaved to be saved. They will want them to remain. In their bondage.

 

In their captivity. Till the end. So that they will be damned.

 

In chapter 14 of Isaiah. When Isaiah. Was taunting the prophet.

 

By the spirit of God. Was taunting Lucifer. Look at what he said.

 

Isaiah chapter 14. And verse number 17. Talking about him.

 

That is the one that made the world. As a wilderness. And destroyed the cities thereof.

 

That opened not the house. Of his prisoners. He will not open the house of his prisoners.

 

He will not want them to go free. He will want them to remain. And die.

 

In their unsaved situation. Secondly. Their plan is to pursue believers.

 

Real children of God. With the mind. Of bringing them back.

 

To servitude. That is their next plan. That is their next walk.

 

And you can see it pictured. In what happened in Exodus. After the children of Israel.

 

Have been freed. From the bondage of the Egyptians. What did Pharaoh do? What did Pharaoh say? Said why? Why did I let these people go? Why did I allow these people to go free? No, I’m not going to allow it to continue.

 

And look at chapter 14. And verse number 5. And it was told the king of Egypt. That the people fled.

 

And the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants. Was turned against the people. And they said, why have we done this? That we have let Israel go from serving us.

 

And he made ready his chariot. And took his people with him. And he took 600 choosing chariots.

 

And all the chariots of Egypt. And captains over every one of them. And the Lord had in the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

 

And he pursued after the children of Israel. And the children of Israel went out with an high hand. He pursued.

 

And the intention was to bring them back to Egypt. So, second plan is to pursue believers. With the mind of bringing them back to bondage.

 

Number three is to make sure that those stubborn believers. Those ones who have refused to yield. Yield to him.

 

Insisting on reaching heaven. His next plan is, okay, they want to go to heaven. They don’t want to return back to me.

 

They will reach heaven. But, they will have a lot of bullets and wounds on their bodies. To reach heaven.

 

But, wait for me. To reach heaven. But, you will have bullets on your body.

 

And you have a lot of wounds on your body. And as a result of this, you see them firing. You see them walking tirelessly.

 

You see them doing everything possible as to make sure that they frustrate these believers. As to make sure that they bring them down. As to make sure that they go to heaven with wounds on their bodies.

 

And as a result of this, many believers have become weak. As a result of the activities of Satan. The pursuit of the wicked.

 

The arrows of the wicked. As a result of their schemes and their machinations. That the enemies have used against these God’s people.

 

You see many people, God’s children, becoming weak. Becoming feeble. Battered.

 

And shattered. As a result of the onslaught of the wicked one. Look at what the apostle Paul said in Ephesians chapter 6. Ephesians 6. We read in verse number 16.

 

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Fiery darts of the wicked. The fire power of Satan.

 

All the missiles that they will be sending. Against who? Against God’s children. For telling believers to take on the shield of faith.

 

So that they will be able to quench these fiery darts. These arrows that are being fired at them. And the devils are firing.

 

And they will continue to fire. With the mind of achieving what I have just said. One, to keep the unsaved in their unsaved condition till the end.

 

Choosing whatsoever means. Two, to pursue the believers with the mind of bringing them back to bondage. And then, three, to go after those stubborn ones who have refused to yield to them.

 

To go after them. Dealing with them. Saying, since you want to go to heaven, you will reach that heaven.

 

But you will have a lot of bullets on your body. A lot of wounds on your body. And so, the enemy’s aim and objective is to weaken them spiritually.

 

Weaken these believers spiritually so as to overrun them readily. When you weaken your opponent, you will readily overrun him. That is exactly what they do in military warfare.

 

Look for a means of weakening your opponent. Sometimes, it could be a plan maybe not to allow food to reach the camp of the opponent. There will be a blockage.

 

And when the soldiers who are fighting now, when they have no food to eat, when the soldiers are hungry, no food to eat, the next thing is for them to be weak. And when they become weak, they will not be able to fight. Or sometimes, they go and poison their food or poison their water so that if they eat those foods, maybe they have diarrhea and then in that weakness, they will not be able to fight.

 

And the enemy will come and overcome them. That is exactly what the devils are doing. Looking for a means of weakening God’s children.

 

And I tell you, many are now weak. Let’s go back to our text in Isaiah chapter number 40 as we read verse number 30 which says even the youth shall faint and be weary and the young men shall utterly fail. The youths are known for strength.

 

The youths are known for vigor. They are able to stand and resist. But there are things that can come upon them.

 

Come upon them in such a way that they will become weakened. They will become tired. They will not be able to stand.

 

And that is exactly what the devils have done. And that is exactly what the devils are still doing. And these, their activities has led to spiritual lethargy, deterioration, and backsliding.

 

These, their activities. These, their evil works. These, their evil plans.

 

These, their evil schemes. These, their evil machinations against God’s people have made it that right now some of believers, some of the people that you know to be wonderful Christians, genuine children of God, you see some of them deteriorating. You see some of them backsliding.

 

You see some of them going backward. You see some of them in the state of spiritual lethargy. L-E-T-H-A-R-G-Y.

 

Now, lethargy is a state of tiredness. It’s a state of sleepiness, weariness, fatigue, sluggishness. It’s a state of lack of enthusiasm and lack of energy.

 

And so, many of them have become so battered that there is no strength in them again. Many of them have become so battered that they are now wearied. They are now tired.

 

And some of them have thrown in the towel because of this. And when you check, we see when you look around we find out that some people, people you know before as children of God, wonderful believers, if you check, you will see that some of them are no longer firing. Some of them are no longer on the battlefield.

 

Some of them are no longer carrying the battle to the gates of the enemy. Why? They have become weak. They have become tired.

 

They have become sluggish. They have now no interest again in the things of the Lord. And some have thrown in the towel because of the activities of the wicked one.

 

Elijah found himself in that state at a point in time as a result of Jezebel’s threat and the Jezebel’s activities. He saw himself in that state. He became so tired.

 

He became so weak. He became so frightened that he decided that it is time to die. In Isaiah in 1 Kings chapter 19 1 Kings chapter 19 and verse 4 But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a juniper tree and he requested for himself that he might die and said it is enough now O Lord, take away my life for I am not better than my fathers.

 

He became the frightened and the tired prophet. How come this great man of God became tired? The activities of the wicked one. Jezebel have threatened him and said by this time tomorrow you are going to be a dead man.

 

This man could not bear it. This man could not take it. And he ran.

 

Ran for his dear life and ran and ran and came to a place where he found out that he had become so tired and he now said to the Lord it is enough. I don’t want to continue in this journey. It is enough.

 

Take away my life. I want to die here. I want to end this ministry here.

 

It is enough Lord. Thank God that the Lord came to his aid. To find out that that was also the undoing of the young prophet from Judah.

 

The young prophet that went and prophesied against the author of Jeroboam while he was returning. Look at what happened to him. Chapter 13 of 1 Kings and verse number 14.

 

He left the author of Jeroboam and went on his way. And at this point in time the old prophet went after him. And look at what happened in verse 13.

 

He said unto his sons saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass and he rode there on and went after the man of God. That young prophet from Judah.

 

And found him sitting under an oak. And he said unto him Adow the man of God that cometh from Judah. And he said I am.

 

The young prophet was tired. The young prophet was weak. And then he decided to rest.

 

While he was resting his old prophet came. And do you know what happened? And do you know how he deceived him? And do you know how he made him to disobey the voice of the Lord? And do you know how he died? He had not yet reached home and he began to rest. He had not yet reached home and he found himself tired.

 

And in that tired state the enemy got him and wrecked his life. And so this is the spiritual state of many people in the church today. Many people that began this journey some time ago.

 

Many people that began this heavenly race are now tired. They are now weak. Their interest in the things of God has waned.

 

People that were bubbling before. People that were firing before. People that were full of strength before.

 

People that carried the battles to the gates of the enemy. A lot of things has happened to them. A lot of terrible things has happened to them.

 

And right now you see them. Some of them who pray now. Who pray now.

 

It’s a tug of war. They can’t pray again. These are the people that will pray before and pray and pray and pray and pray.

 

I can pray them prayer machine. But right now it has become difficult for them to pray. Right now to go to church.

 

To go to church is another thing. Many of them are just managing. Managing to go to church.

 

They have developed cold feet. Was it so before? No. Why is it so now? It is so because of the activities of the enemy.

 

And when it comes to the work of God you find out that some of them who are still there are just fulfilling obligation. They are not there again as they used to be. They are not doing their work again as they used to do it before.

 

And you find out that they are not there. They may be there physically but they are not there spiritually. No enthusiasm again.

 

No interest again in the things of the Lord. The things that thrilled them before. The work that gave them joy before.

 

Right now they find it difficult to go into it. And as you go into their lives you are going to see something else. And what is it? No growth.

 

No spiritual improvement. The only thing you will see is stagnancy. The only thing you will see is spiritual deterioration.

 

It was not so before. But that is their experiences now because of the activities of the wicked one. For some it is like the dog has returned back to eat for meat.

 

The dog has returned back to eat for meat. You know a young man vibrant in those days when we repented he was leading us, he was moving us up and down evangelizing but the enemy came upon him the enemy visited him and dealt with him and dealt with him and dealt with him until they knocked him out. And one day he came back he came to a place where he used to visit.

 

The people that knew him before that used to call him pastor called him pastor. He said no no don’t call me that again. Because he is no longer the person he used to be.

 

And from what I know about him the dog returned back to eat for meat. From what I know about him the story we had showed that he backslided. The story we had showed that he is no longer on his way to heaven.

 

But this is somebody that we preach. This is somebody that will even organize crusade in his village. Spending money bringing people in to help evangelize his village.

 

But right now he is singing the lost song in a strange land. Because the enemy visited him the enemy walked against him and the enemy succeeded. And when you look into the life of some of the people you see that they are now building again the things which they once destroyed.

 

The things they destroyed before the old lifestyle which the Lord helped them and they overcame. Right now we are going to see as we check their lives that those things are coming back. Anger has returned.

 

Lost has returned. Craftiness has returned. Deceit has returned.

 

Exaggeration has returned. Lies. Lies.

 

They can now lie. They can now cover up. They can now be economical with truth.

 

Which thing was not there before in their glorious days. But right now the dog has gone back to his dummy according to 2 Peter chapter 2 verse 22 and the things they once destroyed they are now rebuilding. Take Do we see many people who were once vibrant? Many people who once were wonderful children of God.

 

Do we see some of them now in a graceless life? Had the grace of God in times past? The grace of God subdued their loss? Subdued their passions? But right now they are disconnected. They are disconnected and as a result of this disconnection you see their lives now restless. The economic, social, marital, health and other problems of life engineered by Satan have so beaten them down that their hands now hang down and their knees are now feeble.

 

Yes. You think that the problem that the devils bring may be bring upon you working against your business, working against your health, your economy, fighting against your marriage. Is he interested in taking your wife? Is he a human being? The business that he wrecked, is it because he wants your money? Your health that he battered, why did he do that? What did he gain by battering it? He’s looking for something.

 

He’s looking for your soul. He’s wanting to slow you down. Do not want you to go with that speed with which you are going.

 

And so he brought these things, he engineered it and battered their business and battered their body with sicknesses and diseases and anti-marriage visited your marriage and then wrecked your marriage and wrecked your relationships with your wife. And then right now, it is now cat and rat. Right now there is no peace in the house.

 

Right now, two of you are now enemies, living in the same house. And through this, he has reduced you to nothing. And through this, he has now made you not to go the way you were going before.

 

Your hands now hang down and your knees are feeble. No strength again. In Hebrews chapter 12 verse number 12.

 

Hebrews 12 I read verse 12 Therefore lift up the hands which hang down and the feeble knees and make straight paths for your feet. Lest that which is lame be turned out of the way but let it rather be healed. These hands were not hanging down before.

 

These knees were not feeble before. How come that the knees are now feeble and the hands are hanging down? It is so because of the visit of the wicked one. And in Galatians chapter 5 Galatians chapter 5 number 7 You did run well in times past.

 

Who did hinder you now that you should not obey the truth? You did run well in times past but who did hinder you? In short, at a place he was asking them who had bewitched you? Who had influenced you negatively? But now you are no longer following what you followed before. You are no longer living the kind of life you lived before. You have turned your back unto God and not your face.

 

Right now, you see yourself going backward instead of going forward spiritually. That is the condition of many people. They are going backward.

 

They have turned and they are now on their way back to Egypt. They came out of Egypt but their experiences in the wilderness is something they cannot bear. And so they are now back on their way to Egypt.

 

Remember in the wilderness they said, is it not better for us to make a captain and to return back to Egypt? That was for the people in the wilderness. But for the people in church now, some of the people are now on their way back. They are not planning on how to go back to Egypt.

 

They are now on their way back to Egypt because of their experiences, because of the things that have bedeviled them, because of the things that have happened on their way to this heavenly city. In Jeremiah chapter 2, Jeremiah 2, I read verse number 27. Look at what God said concerning these people.

 

Jeremiah 2, 27. Say unto a stalk thou art my father and to a stone thou hast brought me forth for they have turned their back unto me and not their face. God speaking.

 

Chapter 7, verse 24. For they have not inclined their ear that walked in the councils and in the imagination of their evil heart and went backward and not forward. They went backward and not forward.

 

Was it their plan? Was it how they arranged it originally? Did they plan to leave Egypt and not reach Canaan land? Did you plan to repent and not reach heaven at the end of the day? How come you are not going back? How come you are not going backward and not forward? The way to heaven, is it behind or in the front? Something has happened. Something has happened to you. You are now in the church, but not in the church.

 

You are in the church physically, but you are not in the church. You know it that your mind is not in the church. You know it that your spirit is not in the church.

 

You know it that everything that is happening in the church now does not mean much to you. The messages does not mean much to you. You are just managing.

 

In Proverbs chapter 14, verse 14 the Bible said that the backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways. You have become a backslider in the heart. You have lost the grounds you gained before.

 

The spiritual grounds you gained before, you have lost them. And now you are in the church, but you are not in the church. Your case is like what God said concerning Israel.

 

In Jeremiah chapter 2 and verse 3 Israel was holiness unto the Lord. Was. Was.

 

In the past Israel was holiness unto the Lord. But now what is the situation? What is their life like? Holiness is in the past now. Presently there is nothing to write home about their lives.

 

Now, in the program of God for some of these people, there are heights for them to gain. There are gifts that God will want them to possess. There are feats the Lord will want them to attain.

 

And also there are territories the Lord will want them to conquer. But these people will not be able to do this because of their terrible spiritual condition. Think about it.

 

Heights to gain, gifts to possess, feats to achieve, territories to conquer for the Lord. But these things will not happen again. These things will not come to be again.

 

Why? Their terrible spiritual condition will not allow it to happen. Joshua chapter number 13 and verse 1. The Bible said that when Joshua was old and was three killing age, the Lord said to Joshua, there are many lands, many territories to conquer. You have not conquered them.

 

And Joshua could not because he has become old. He has become tired. He has become weak.

 

His case is understandable because of old age. But what we are talking about now is not as a result of old age. It is because that the devils are beating the people down.

 

It is because that the problems of life have so subdued the people that they can’t move. They are tired, exhausted, weak, feeble, fatigued, lost interest in the things of the Lord. And now they are just managing.

 

Just check your life. How is it with you now? Look back. What was it like before? How is it now? Compare it to the life of old.

 

The glorious life you lived after salvation. How wonderful. How glorious your life was.

 

Do you know it? If the trumpet sounds, by that time you will make it. Or if death comes, you will reach heaven. But right now, do you still have that assurance? Do you still have the joy of salvation? Are you still sure that you will make heaven? Are you still sure that if the Lord comes now to take you, maybe individually, or comes to take us collectively, do you still have that assurance of being with God at the end of the day? Just think.

 

That assurance was there before. But now you don’t have it again. Because of the things that has happened to you.

 

The enemy has dealt with you. And so the Lord, having observed all these things, is saying to you, you can remain here. You can remain in this situation.

 

You can remain in this condition. If you remain in this state, if you remain in this dilapidation, if you remain in this deterioration, if you remain in this backsliding state, if you remain in this state of spiritual lethargy, you will be destroyed. In Micah, Micah chapter 2, let’s hear the voice of the Lord.

 

Micah chapter 2, I read verse number 10. Arise ye and depart. For this is not your rest.

 

Because it is polluted, it shall destroy you even with a soul destruction. The state you find yourself now, the place where you are now, that place of spiritual lethargy, that place of spiritual weakness and tiredness, that place of loss and lack of interest in God and in the things of God, the Lord is saying that if you remain there, it will destroy you. The Lord is saying that you need to arise and depart from there or else you will be destroyed.

 

Destroyed. In Isaiah 60 verse 1 it says, Arise and then you’ll shine. You must arise.

 

You must arise if you want to shine. And the expectation of the Lord is that you shall shine. The expectation of the Lord is that you’ll return back to who you used to be.

 

But you must make up your mind that these experiences, these ugly experiences will not continue. This is not the person that I used to be. And the angels have been looking at you all this while and they are saying, a coward.

 

But the glory has departed. The Lord knows what happened to you. Thank God you are still in church.

 

The Lord knows the visitations and the terrible thing that the enemy did using one thing or the other to bring you to this sorry state. The Lord knows that. But He wants me to let you know that having seen and having experienced the oppression of the kingdom of darkness, it is time for you to experience the oppression of the kingdom of light because the two kingdoms are at work.

 

And so the Lord will want you to switch camp. The Lord will want you to move from the camp of the deteriorated spiritually. The Lord will want you to move from the camp of the backslidden.

 

And see yourself in the camp of the restored. See yourself in the camp of the revived. See yourself in the camp of men and women that have been refurbished by heaven.

 

And so you are going to experience the oppression of the kingdom of light. Having experienced the oppression of the kingdom of darkness. And the question is what do I do? What do I do? Seeing that has not been easy with me.

 

Seeing that my life is not what it used to be. Seeing that I am just managing. Seeing that I am at the edge of backsliding.

 

Seeing that if nothing happens now, I will fall off. And if I fall off, I’m not sure if I will be able to recover. What do I do? I tell you briefly what to do.

 

One, recognize and acknowledge you are fallen and you are deteriorated state. Like the prodigal son. Recognize it.

 

Remember from whence thou art fallen. The prodigal son remembered his former situation and compared it with his present. In my father’s house he had enough.

 

Enough to eat and to throw away. But here, there’s nothing to eat. I’m only managing the food that is meant for peace.

 

Begging for such foods and nobody gave him. And he said, what am I doing here? Look back. Remember the spiritual height you attained before.

 

Remember how powerful you used to be. Remember your prayers in the night. How you disturbed your vicinity.

 

How the witches and wizards in that area feared you and feared your prayers. But now you have gone into sleep. Now you have gone into slumber.

 

And you have gone into spiritual coma. Into spiritual unconsciousness. Remember that.

 

Remember your righteousness of old. Remember how you followed the Lord. How you served the Lord.

 

Remember your zeal of old. Remember how you loved the Lord. Remember the interest you had in the Lord and in the things of the Lord.

 

Remember that. Remember your activities in the church. The work you are doing for the Lord.

 

Whenever they call for evangelism, you are there. They call for follow-up, you are there. The follow-up cards that you received.

 

Visiting the people was a habit for you. You visited and visited and visited. Some of the people who are standing in the church now, they are your comrades.

 

Because of your evangelistic prowess. Because of the work you rendered in the house of the Lord. But right now, right now, you are nowhere to be found.

 

Right now, they are telling you to wake up. Right now, the people you brought to church are asking you now, how come we are not seeing you in church again? Right now, even now that we are into Easter retreat, you will even go to your business? You will leave the retreat and pursue money. Which thing you don’t do before? Before, oh, this is a wonderful time.

 

A wonderful time of retreat. A wonderful time of revival. And you will not joke with it, but right now you are joking with it.

 

Remember from whence thou art fallen. The Lord will want you to remember that. And as you remember, cry out unto the Lord.

 

Cry with all your heart. Asking him for mercy. And he will show mercy.

 

In Jeremiah chapter 3, Jeremiah 3, I read verse 12 and 13. Jeremiah 3 verse 12 and 13. Go and proclaim this word towards the north.

 

And say, return thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord. And I will not cause my anger to fall upon you, for I am merciful, saith the Lord. And I will not keep anger forever.

 

Only acknowledge thine iniquity that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord. Verse 22, return ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backsliding. Behold, we come unto thee, for thou art the Lord our God.

 

Acknowledge that something is wrong. Accept that all is not well. Accept that you are spiritually sick, that you need a physician to heal you.

 

Accept it. Acknowledge it. And cry out unto the Lord for mercy.

 

In Hosea chapter 7, Hosea chapter number we read verse 14. Look at what the Lord says. Hosea 7, 14, And they have not cried unto me their heart.

 

They have not cried unto me with their heart. I didn’t respond. The Lord will want you to cry unto him.

 

In short, somewhere he said, rend your heart and not your garment. You know in the land of the Jews in those days, when something happened for them to show that they don’t like it, they tear their garment. Somebody can tear his garment for tearing’s sake, but the thing did not touch him.

 

The thing did not reach the heart. The Lord said, I am not interested in the tearing of your garment. I am interested in the tearing of your heart.

 

Cry out. Ask for mercy. Because you know that all is not well.

 

You have waited and waited for the Lord to visit you and the Lord has not visited. You have waited and waited for something to happen and something has not happened. In this area of your life, in that area of your life, and it looks like you are now offended with the Lord.

 

Some people are offended with the Lord right now. Because of what he has not yet done for them. Because of their expectations.

 

The Bible said that hope defied, making the heart sick. And so, your heart is sick now and you are offended with the Lord. Like Jonah, at a point in time, became offended with the Lord.

 

And the Lord said to him, do that well to be offended. Jonah said, I do well to be offended. Is it your case? Is it your situation? John the Baptist was in prison and was expecting that Jesus will visit and that Jesus will come to his aid, but Jesus did not visit.

 

And he sent his disciples to go and ask him, are you the one to come or do we look for another? I’m not sure again. This was the person who said before, behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sin of the whole world. I don’t know him before, but he that sent me to baptize with what I said to me, upon the person whom you will see a dove coming upon.

 

If you see that dove upon him, know that he is the one who will baptize with the Holy Ghost. And I saw, and I know that this is the person. But now, the language changed.

 

The prison house of Herod have changed him. His experiences become so terrible and so bad. Then offense was coming up in his heart.

 

And Jesus said to his disciples, you go and tell John what you saw. He mentioned those things and at the end he said, and blessed is he who is not offended. Are you offended with the Lord? You expected that by now he must have visited you.

 

The situation must have changed, but it has not changed. You served and served and served him with all your heart, nothing happened. Then you are saying, is he able to serve the Lord? And not only are you saying, is he able to serve the Lord, you are saying, I have served and served and served and then, there’s nothing to show for it.

 

Then you begin to withdraw your sacrifice from the altar. Forgetting that he that put his hand upon the plow and look it back is not fit for the kingdom. And then you are withdrawing your sacrifice from the altar.

 

And then you are withdrawing from your life of dedication, life of commitment. You begin to withdraw. And now you are tilting towards the world.

 

And now you are on your way back to Egypt. You have turned your back to the Lord and not your face. And then you find out that you are going spiritually backward, not forward.

 

May I ask you, since you began to go back, have your situation changed? That thing you are looking for, have you gotten it? That blessings you are waiting for, has it occurred? That miracle you want, is it with you now? Do you think that it is by leaving the Lord that you will get it? Do you think that it is by withdrawing from the Lord that you will get it? This is not the time of backsliding. This is not the time of withdrawing. This is the time of being more serious with the Lord, considering the time now in heaven.

 

And so, somebody must check to find out that all is not well. Cry out to God, requesting for mercy and the Lord will visit you. The second thing I want you to do is to believe implicitly that the kingdom of light is at work and that God, the head of that kingdom has inexhaustible, unsearchable and unlimited resources which He will not hoard or withhold but will employ it for your restoration and for your revival.

 

He has it. He has the strength. You have fallen, yes.

 

You have been beaten down, yes. You are weak and tired, yes. Fatigued and exhausted, yes.

 

But He said, I am the one that gives power to defend and to them that have no might, I increase their strength. You have no might now. You have no strength now.

 

You have lost all your strength. You have lost all your might. The enemy has beaten you down.

 

Or maybe like Samson, you lost your own at the lapse of a Delilah. Maybe like Samson, you have lost your two eyes. Maybe like Samson, you have become an object of caricature.

 

People are now mocking you. The Philistines are now saying, Samson, behold the Philistines and you cannot do anything. That may be your situation.

 

Remember, Samson believed in the God of restoration. Samson believed in the ability of God. Samson believed that God came and He prayed and He cried and spoke to the Lord, strengthen me.

 

Strengthen me, O Lord, even for only this time. Strengthen me, Lord. And the Lord responded.

 

And when you look into the Bible, you find out that He has promised to do so. Look at Amos chapter 5. Amos chapter number 5. I read verse 8 and verse 9, talking about God. Pick him that maketh the seven stars and Orion, and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night, that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth.

 

The Lord is His name that strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress. He is the one who has what it takes to strengthen the spoiled. You have been spoiled, you have been beaten down, crushed as it were.

 

But the Lord said, I have what it takes to strengthen that spoiled person. And I will strengthen him in such a way that he will stand to face the fortress, to face the strong man, to face that fortified building, and then to batter it and to bring it down. I have the strength.

 

I have the power. I have the wherewithal. And at such a time, He will not hold it.

 

At such a time, He will not hold it. He will not withhold it. He will release it for the restoration of somebody.

 

And I see somebody getting restored. I see somebody returning back to who he used to be. That is God’s plan, and that is God’s program.

 

And He has promised not only to renew your strength, but to give you power so as to mount up with wings like eagle and to soar. Ah! He gives me joy. He gives me joy.

 

And I want to tell you that in the spiritual, God is not interested in those who are dead. He doesn’t give Him joy. It’s not acceptable.

 

Those who are sleeping and slumbering spiritually, God is not happy with them. Those who spiritually are lying down, spiritually sitting down, God is not happy with them. He’s only happy with three categories of people.

 

Those who are walking spiritually, those who are running spiritually, and those who are flying spiritually. If you are sleeping, if you are lying down, if you are slumbering, if you are sitting down, God is not happy with you. He wants to see you either walking or running in or flying.

 

That’s why He said that they that wait upon the Lord shall do what? Renew their strength. And they shall mount up with wings like eagles, meaning what? Flying. They shall run and they will not be weary.

 

They shall walk and they shall not be tired. So what God wants is either that you are walking spiritually or you are running spiritually or you are flying. And I’m saying to you today that His plan is not only to renew your strength because He said, I give power to defend.

 

And to them that have no might He increases their strength. And they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Yes, He wants to renew your strength but He will not want to stop there.

 

He wants to give you power so that you can mount up with wings like eagle. And then you begin to fly. And then you begin to soar in the spiritual.

 

And then you return back to whom you used to be and not only returning back to whom you used to be, you see yourself improving, you see yourself increasing, you see yourself becoming better and your relationship with God becoming something else. He gives power to defend. And to them that have no might, He increases their strength.

 

I want to ask you, are you tired? Are you fainted? Are you weak? Have you allowed the problem of life to beat you down? Have you allowed the activities of the wicked one to knock you out? Have you allowed your marital problem to subdue you? Since you got married you don’t understand what is happening in your home? Have you allowed your business now to stand between you and your God? What is happening in that business? How that the business came down? The business is not moving as expected. Have you allowed that terrible situation to make you not to remember the Lord your God? Has He made you to turn your back to Him? Has He made you to go backward instead of going forward? The Lord is saying that this is the time to leave that camp. This is the time to leave that camp.

 

The camp of the dilapidated spiritually. The camp of the deteriorated spiritually. The camp of backsliders spiritually.

 

The camp of those with spiritual lethargy. The Lord is saying it’s time to switch camp. To leave that camp and return to the camp of those who are vibrant.

 

And to return to the camp of those who are living for the Lord. And to return to the camp of those who are serving the Lord, worshipping the Lord with all their heart. And to return to the camp of men and women who are spiritually fervent.

 

The Lord is saying, I have the resources. I have the ability. I have the strength.

 

And I am interested in doing it. But the question is are you interested? If you are, the time has come to cry out. His strength is made perfect in weakness.

 

So if you are weak, you are qualified for his strength. You have seen the other side. You have seen the other kingdom.

 

You have seen their activities. It’s time to see the activities of the kingdom of light. And the Lord is here to revive.

 

And the Lord is here to rewire. The Lord is here to refire. The Lord is here to renew.

 

The Lord is here to refurbish. The Lord is here to reconstruct. The Lord is here to renew your strength.

 

The Lord is here to refresh your life. The Lord is here to revive you, so that you can mount up with wings like eagles and fly. If that is what you want, if that is what you need, rise up on your feet now and cry out and tell the Lord how it is with you.

 

You do that as we join our music ministers and they will be singing this song, though not in our hymn books, but listen to the songs talking about taking me back to the place where I first started. Hear their songs, listen to their songs, meditate on those songs and pray and tonight, or this day, no matter the time when you are hearing the message, the Lord will show you that he is the Lord and he has the resources, he has the strength, he has the power, he has the mechanisms, he has what it takes to bring you back to what you used to be and to bring you back to what he wants you to be. Open your mouth and pray as you hear these songs.

Say that to the Lord, say that to the Lord, cry out.

 

As you cry out, the spirit of God is here, his agent, the spirit of God is here and the work will begin in your life, even this very hour. Oh the dew of heaven will come upon you, you have been scorched. Terrible spiritual sun scorched you and scorched you and scorched you and you became so dried and you became so tired and you became so fatigued and exhausted spiritually that you don’t want to continue again.

 

Say no, I must continue, say no, I will see the end. I began this journey here not to stop it here, I began this journey to end it in heaven and so dear Lord help me, and so dear Lord help me, and so dear Lord help me. In you I move, in you I live, in you I have my being.

 

Restore back, restore back everything that I lost. Restore back everything that the enemy took. Restore back all that the canker worms and the palm worms and the caterpillars have destroyed.
