Precious Lord, I pray that through the ministry of the Word and Spirit, You will do that work which You alone can do. And take all the glory, bringing about a healthy, sanctified church. A church that is rapturable.

 

A gathering of people where love flows. A gathering of people where Christ’s likeness is their watchword. A gathering of people set aside by the Lord for a divine purpose, whose lives are unique, different from that of others.

 

A gathering of people called to be instruments of God, to bring about a rapturable church. Thank you, Lord, for so shall it be. Spirit of truth, now speak for your people are listening.

 

And use your Word to bring about that which is desired in the church. At this end of the church age, when the church seemingly has gone haywire, and there is no difference between the Word and the church, let the watchmen be unique. Let them be that instrument that has been raised at this time to bring back Jacob to the Lord.

 

In the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Lord, for answering my prayers. I seal the gatherings with the blood of Jesus.

 

All the places where they are gathered for this world, I cover with the blood of Jesus and render it a danger zone to oppression of powers of darkness. There shall be no distraction. Everything shall function perfectly and God’s Word shall flow without resistance, without resistance of any kind.

 

It shall fall like dew upon the hearts, bringing about germination of the product of the Spirit. In the name of Jesus Christ. Glory and honor be unto you, most high, for attention to the prayer that has been made.

 

In Jesus’ name we have prayed. Amen. Welcome to another session of that great retreat, which has been announced and for quite some time has been anticipated, whose theme is, Will God hold or withhold His unsearchable, inexhaustible resources in the day of need? Will God keep back, hold, or withhold His riches that are unsearchable and inaccessible in the day of need? When the resources are needed, will He keep them away? This program has been designed to make participants know that God is a keeper of His Word.

 

He gives and gives and gives and will not give back. I’m going to bring a message that is very important. A message that nobody that belongs to this ministry can afford to trivialize.

 

A message that God wills that He be giving with the ambience of the time we have. A message that is needed at this end of the church age. We all know that the rapid iteration of all aspects of life makes it so plain that the Adamant knows that we are at the end of the church.

 

Perilous times. The time that the Apostle Paul spoke about and that the Lord Jesus also spoke about. He can classify this time as the time of need.

 

Perilous times, times difficult to manage, are times of need. Now there’s a saying that goes this way. Crisis does not necessarily make character but reveals it.

 

Crisis does not necessarily make character but reveals character. When crisis comes, some people can learn from it and build character, others may not. But one thing that you are sure that happens at crisis is that crisis reveals character.

 

When it comes, the content of an individual is known, what the person is made of. So at such a time as we are in, the time of crisis, a lot of characters have been revealed. What people are, who they are, has been revealed.

 

And there’s also a saying that adversity is a crossroads that makes a person choose between compromise and character. Adversity is a crossroads that makes a person choose between compromise and character. And anybody that chooses character at any time makes himself stronger.

 

There is a compromise, there is character. You compromise to have it the easy way and solve that matter. There is a character where you stand on all partners.

 

If you choose character at every time of adversity, you get stronger and stronger. Even though the consequences at that time may not be sovereign, may be negative, but you are growing stronger and stronger. So such a time as we are in, which is a time of difficulty, a time of challenges, character is being challenged.

 

What you are made of is being challenged. It is now left for you to grow, to build up, or to diminish by compromising. If anybody is consistent in taking the right step, making the right choice, that person will be sound.

 

If you are consistent in making the right choice, taking that right step at all times, when you have opportunity to choose between the right thing or compromise. If you keep on choosing the right thing, then you are going to be sound. You are going to be stronger.

 

You are going to work greater. But it takes somebody with a sound heart to always make a right choice. So anybody that is consistent in choosing the right thing, choosing character, has a sound mind.

 

In Proverbs chapter 4 verse 23, it says, Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life. And in chapter 23 and verse 7, it says, As a man thinketh, as he thinketh, so is he. So anybody that has a sound mind, thinks right, and will always make the right choice.

 

Such people that are given to upholding character at all times, will always enjoy the blessings of the Lord. Or such people that will choose character at all times, not minding the consequences. Choose that which is right in the sight of God.

 

Refusing to compromise, such a person will enjoy God’s promises, God’s blessings. That brings me to my message, titled, Purity is Profitable. Purity is profitable.

 

We have said that for a person to always take the right step of character, that heart must be sound. That is a person given to purity. And we are now saying that purity is profitable.

 

My texts for that message are Daniel chapter 1, I’m reading from verse 3 through verse number 21, Matthew chapter 5 and verse 8, and Hebrew chapter 12, verses 11 to 17. Daniel chapter 1 from verse 3, I read, And the king spake unto Ashpenaz, the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king’s seed, and of their princes, children in whom was no blemish, but well favored, and skillful in all wisdom, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning of the tongues of the Chaldeans. And the king appointed them a daily portion of the king’s meat, and of the wine which he drank, so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

 

Now among these were the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names, for he gave unto Daniel the name Betheshaza, and to Hananiah of Shadrach, and to Mishael of Meshach, and to Azariah of Abednego. But Daniel proposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank. Therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

 

Now God had brought Daniel into favor and tender love with the prince of the eunuchs, and the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink, for why should he see your faces worse, worse like him, than the children which are of your sort? Then shall he make me endanger my head to the king. Then said Daniel to Melza, whom the prince of the eunuchs had sent over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, Prove thy servants I beseech thee ten days, and let them give us bowls to eat and water to drink. Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king’s meat, and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.

 

So he consented to them in this manner, and proved them ten days. And at the end of the ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did the portion of the king’s meat. Thus Melza took away the portion of their meat and the wine that they should drink, and gave them bowls.

 

As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all their learning and wisdom, and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams. Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them in, then the prince of the Enochs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar, and the king communed with them, and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. Therefore stood they before the king, and in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.

 

And Daniel continued even unto the first year of King Cyrus. In Matthew’s Gospel chapter 5, quickly reading verse number 8. Matthew chapter 5, verse 8. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. And in Hebrews chapter 12, verse number 11 through verse number 17.

 

Hebrews chapter number 12, verses 11 through 17. Hebrews 12 from verse 11. Now no chastening for the presence seemed to be joyous, but grievous.

 

Nevertheless, afterward it yielded the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands that which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which was lame be turned out of the way, but let it rather be healed. Full of peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.

 

Looking diligently, lest any man fail of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness bring him up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Lest there be any fornicator or profane person as Esau, who for one more cell of meat sold his birthright. For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

 

Our topic remains, purity is profitable. In the first reading, Daniel was among the captives carried away to Babylon. We are always informed that Daniel was among the first batch of deputies.

 

With him were other Jewish young men who looked robust and looked healthy. Right there in Babylon, the king had given instruction, I need some of these captives to serve in my office, serve me as eunuchs. And then he gave instruction, and Daniel was among those selected.

 

That was an honorable office, to be among those that would be in the king’s place and the king’s palace to serve the king. Daniel was among, and then these other Hebrew boys mentioned were also included. And then the king said, they will have training for three years, where they will be well fed with the food that comes from the king’s table, after which they now come to serve if they pass the assessment.

 

The food to be given, we are food that the law of Moses condemned. Among the things to be eaten, we are food or meat that we are counted unclean. Daniel said, I will not eat anything unclean or drink anything that the law says shouldn’t be taken, even though I am in a place that is outside my father’s land.

 

I won’t get offended with God. I want you to fear the Lord. These other three Hebrew young men joined him.

 

Some other Hebrew boys were there, but they didn’t join. And they wouldn’t want to eat. They saw the permission of the supervisor.

 

He said, this is fearful. However, Daniel said, give us just 10 days trial and test us. After the trial, the man allowed them.

 

And ultimately, they were found to be better than others, 10 times better. Ultimately, they were put at high positions to serve the king. And Daniel himself outlived this kingdom of Babylon that brought that temptation.

 

He outlived that kingdom. So, himself and his three friends, we are people that fear God and would prefer to do what pleases God, no matter what it costs them. And God blessed them.

 

God exalted them. Jesus, now in chapter 5 of Matthew, said, blessed are the pure in heart. The word pure there has to do with free of admixture.

 

A heart that doesn’t have pollution, doesn’t have anything that is impurity. Blessed are they, for they shall, such a heart shall see God. Blessed are such hearts, for they shall see God.

 

The word see there is shall have a gaze at God. God is going to reveal himself. The eye will see the splendor of God.

 

God will give himself, revelation of himself to such a person. And then in Hebrew chapter 12, we concluded with Paul, believed to be the writer, writing to the brethren of Hebrew extracts. Spoke about chastisement from God.

 

That chastisement is the interest of the person being chastised. That chastisement, if taken properly, yields the fruit of righteousness. And then he said, move away from cold feet and weak ankles and strengthen yourself.

 

And then he called unto the people to follow holiness. Follow peace with all men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Without which no man shall have a revelation of the Lord.

 

No man shall behold the Lord. That same word see here was the same word in Matthew chapter 5 verse 8 used for see. Without it, no man shall gaze at the Lord.

 

We have said some time ago that it has to begin with here you are on earth. And then end up in glory. Without holiness, no man.

 

Paul was writing to Christians. He wasn’t writing to unbelievers. So that word, that instruction or that information wasn’t for unbelievers.

 

It was talking to Christians. And then he said in the next verse, verse 15, look diligently among yourselves, look diligently, lest any man fail of the grace of God. Not unbelievers.

 

Unbelievers don’t have the grace of God. So among believers, grace can fail. And when grace fails, root of bitterness springs up.

 

And through that bitterness that has sprung up, many get defiled. So Paul was writing to the church because we have heard some people say that didn’t mean talking to church. He was talking to people outside.

 

No. It is talking to believers in church. There is a possibility of grace failing and somebody becoming an instrument of pollution.

 

And then downwards, by the time we are concluding, he spoke about let there be no fornicator among you, or profane person. Profane, what profane has to do with someone that is disconnected from God. Who doesn’t have communication with God? Who doesn’t have access to God? So Paul, writing to Christians, spoke of the need to be watchful.

 

Lest you fall out of the way. And if you fall out of the way, you can become profane. You can become unhallowed.

 

You can be a person who lacks affinity with God. And who lacks relationship with God. That is a profane person.

 

So in the message of today, to bring the message out properly, we are going to see the paucity of quality life at a perplexing time. The scarcity or paucity of quality Christian life at a perplexing time as we are in. Among people who are supposed to be believers, quality Christian life is scarce.

 

We are looking at it briefly. After that, we look at purity of heart, penitent and profitable. Purity of heart, relevant and profitable.

 

There are those that say it doesn’t matter. Once you are born again, you are born again. No matter what happens, you will be in heaven.

 

Purity of heart, necessary, relevant, penitent and profitable. We will conclude with possibility of purity at such perilous time. Possibility of purity.

 

Is it possible to have purity of heart at such a time? Is it possible to lead a life that is free of stain? We are going to answer. So let’s take the first point. Paucity, P-A-U-C-I-T-Y, or scarcity of quality life, quality Christian life, at this perplexing time.

 

At this time that is very puzzling. We know, as we have earlier said, that this is the end of the church age. And it is a time of moral bankruptcy.

 

It’s a time when evil is eulogized while good is disdained. We are materialism is adored and spirituality is abased. We are at a time when the generation wants to teach themselves.

 

They don’t want impute of elders. But the generation that is existing at this time, generation of people who don’t want to be corrected, who hate correction. And all around, all we see is people that refuse to be guided by spiritual regulations.

 

Any place where there are rules placed to guide people, spiritual rules, they want to flout it. They want to quote scriptures, even quote scriptures of liberty, liberty to do as they like. This is both in the world and in the church.

 

That is the generation. But the laws that are secular, like laws on animal freedom and rights, they want to uphold that. They want to stand to defend it.

 

But the rules in church made for decency and for order, they want to flout it. And there are pastors and ministers who answer apostles and prophets who are giving to breaking down all such rules in church. Because they want everybody to be at liberty to do as what everybody wants.

 

We are going to talk to you so briefly, shortly. So, because of this terrible state of the present day, the environment where Christians live is tortured with fleshly life. Tortured, filled with fleshly life.

 

Which thing is toxic to spiritual life? Because of the devils working and making men go for all these activities of entertainment left and right, everywhere is increase in fleshly activity. And the spirit and the flesh are always at loggerhead. Jesus saw it and then said, Towards the time that he will be coming, he said, Iniquity is the word anomia, which has to do with moving away from adopted law.

 

Error against adopted law. A moral law that has been adopted. And he said, people want to go against it.

 

And they want to use scripture to go against it. And make people to live in liberty of the flesh. So, Jesus said, The love of many will go down.

 

The fervency for affection for God will go down. And this is the reason why in the church, there is the effect of the deterioration looking like a gaping wound. A wound that is wide open.

 

In many assemblies, you cannot differentiate the gathering of gospel and the gathering of unbelievers. You can’t look at them and differentiate. And if you come in contact with people that are supposed to be Christians, you cannot differentiate them with people who have never known Christ.

 

Their words, their manner of life, the way they act and react, everything you see among believers, you see among people that claim to profess Jesus. When they come to fellowship, they kind of dance. Everything they do in the world is what is done in the church.

 

And that is what we see happening today because of the effect of the end time. The activity of the flesh that is being pushed by demonic beings has exacerbated the manifestation of the old man in the lives of Christians, people who are born again. Because of the activities around the old man and them that have not been dealt with, he is having a free fall, having a free course to do as he desires.

 

A lot of loss of fear of God. No more fear of God in the eyes of people that are supposed to be heaven conscious. As a result, homes are in tatters.

 

Husband and wife are at dagger drawn ends. Young couples married one month, two months, three months, eight months, ten years, all, many are not seen eye to eye because there is no fear of God. Nobody wants to obey what the scripture commands.

 

Nobody is ready to accept correction. So, there is a lot of fearlessness of God. We find people coming to church now looking for how to use what is happening in church to make money.

 

So, they are listening to any minister. They’ll say what he will say that they will put in their blog and then ask them to comment. They may even take that thing out of context and give it to unbelievers and let everybody comment.

 

The more they traffic, the more money they make. Such don’t have fear of God. And as a result, pastors and pastors are fighting.

 

Pastors and so-called men of God fighting themselves. People are not after attacking wrong doctrines. They are after attacking personalities.

 

There is no fear of God in their hearts. Houses of God are in jeopardy because of activities of people who have selfish motive. But God says, These are days where there is no fear of God.

 

If you talk to people about hell, that this thing they are doing can lead them to hell. They’ll count it as you want to intimidate people. You want to intimidate people.

 

You want to control them. What is control? All those teachings from the kingdom of darkness are being brought to young people and people in church to make them to put aside the word of God that lasts forever by which people are going to be judged. He that defies the temple of God, the house of God, him shall God destroy.

 

Whether the person is a minister or an elder or a person that is a newcomer. All such scriptures are seen as scriptures that people want to use to control. So, activities of the flesh, wrath, strife, envy, jealousy, offense-taking, offense-making, all forms of carnality are on the increase.

 

In some families, watchman families, they are in factions. In the same watchman. But these people belong to this faction, that person, that faction.

 

In the watchman, people of the same ministry. And you may be there. That is the situation.

 

It is the evidence of the last dead spirit operating in your home. Because the flesh is very active. There are those that give false accusations, accuse people falsely.

 

Yet, they belong to living churches. They live and every manner of thing for transient pleasure. And only a very small fraction of people in the church today belong to the rapturable church.

 

Only a small fraction of people in the church today belong to the rapturable church. The principle reason for this ungodliness in the church is that most people in the church stop at the first experience called salvation experience. They only allow sin to be forgiven.

 

And then they don’t go for higher experiences that will make them more the representatives of Christ. And because of only salvation being acquired, they still maintain the activities of the flesh. They are still full of ego.

 

Still retain the higher traits. Traits that belong to their family. Traits of pride.

 

Traits of anger. Traits of arrogance. Traits of ingratitude.

 

Traits of greed. Traits of rudeness. Still operates in them.

 

Though they will have testimonies of being born again. But such traits make them unpalatable in the sight of God. In Romans chapter 7 from verse number 19, we see what happens to such people who are stopping only at the first touch.

 

The salvation touch. Romans chapter 7 from verse number 19 through verse number 24. Romans chapter 7 from verse 19.

 

For the good that I would, I do not. But the evil which I would not, that I do. Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

 

I find then a law that when I would do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after the inward man. But I see another law in my members.

 

Warring against the law of my mind and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Verse 24. O wretched man that I am, who shall deliver me from the body of this death? That is what is operating.

 

The principle of the flesh. The dynamics of the flesh are operational in their lives. The inner man in their mind has a desire to please God.

 

But now in action, in attitude and action, they see something different. Many times they cry. What kind of thing is this? This anger again.

 

This lying again. This exhibition of greed again. Again, the person is not happy.

 

But is ruled by those impulses. That was what Paul was stating here. Such people that stop at the first experience, who don’t seek higher experiences, many times come to such conditions which is deplorable.

 

Such people manifest the works of their flesh. Galatians chapter 5. Verses 17, then 19 to 21. Galatians chapter 5. Those that stop at the first experience are prone to manifestation of the product of the flesh.

 

Galatians chapter 5 from verse 17. For the flesh lusteth against the spirit and the spirit against the flesh. And these are contrary the one to the other so that he cannot do the things that he would.

 

The spirit man, what he desires is contrary to what the flesh desires. Two of them are antagonists of each other. So the flesh hinders the spirit man from operating when you leave the flesh to rule.

 

If the spirit man doesn’t control the flesh, then the flesh may produce its fruits called the works of the flesh. From verse 19. Now the works of the flesh are manifest.

 

Which are these? Adultery. Whenever that sin is committed, it is flesh speaking. Fornication.

 

Uncleanness. Lasciviousness. Idolatry.

 

Witchcraft. That witchcraft that we have said before is all about drugs. Taking drugs that affect judgment.

 

Drugs that affect judgment. That excites all those LSD, cocaine, all those things people take and trip off and begin to live in. All such drugs are described as witchcraft.

 

Which is pharmacia. Hatred. Variance.

 

Emulations. Wrath. Strife.

 

Seditions. Heresies. Envies.

 

Murders. Drunkenness. Rebellions.

 

And such life of which I tell you before, as I have told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. That is the product of the flesh. When the product of the flesh is available in your life, then you are not a candidate of heaven.

 

In other words, if you die at the time that product is active, you will not go to heaven. That is what you say in there. Except you are able to repent before the death strikes.

 

So those people that tell people others, once you are born again, you can’t be lost again, they should better hear God’s word. They that do such shall not inherit the kingdom of God. They are members of the kingdom by their spiritual birth, but they will not ultimately get into it to stay there forever.

 

So, because people stop at the first experience, many of these acts of the flesh ruin them and the church is not in harmony as a result. But God’s program is to bring restoration, jubilation, and praise to people at this time. God’s will is that people should be moved away from this sin that does so easily beset them and begin to enjoy the blessings of abundant grace.

 

Abundant grace that yields the product of the Spirit, which are written from verse number 22 to 23. You shall see later. So that is where God wants to bring you to, so that you can enjoy the blessing of God and live with jubilation and praise.

 

That brings me to the second point, purity of heart, penitent and profitable. Purity of heart, relevant and profitable. What is it relevant? Holiness is about separation from sin and the world.

 

Spirit, soul, and body, it has to do with freedom from spiritual stains and pollutants. Holiness is all about freedom from spiritual stains and pollutants as one is separated unto God. In 2 Corinthians chapter 7, verse number 1. 2 Corinthians chapter 7, verse 1. Having therefore these promises dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

 

Let’s cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit. There is filthiness of the flesh, filthiness of the spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. So there is a place for fear of God to bring about completeness of holiness.

 

And we said you have to be disconnected from the world. In James chapter 4 and verse 4. Friendship with the world or of the world is enmity against God. Friendship of the world is enmity.

 

Friendship, somebody who is in affiliation, who is fond of the world, that is friendship. That such a thing is hatred, enmity with God. In James 4, you adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God.

 

That word enmity, that means hostility. So if somebody is in friendship with the world, then the person is hostile to God. So those people that say they are born again and they have the spirit of God.

 

But they are fond of the world. They are hostile to God. What is the world? The world there is the Greek word cosmos, which has to do with order.

 

O-R-D-E-R. Order. Order of the world.

 

Covering fashion. Fashion of the world. Covering the dressing of people of the world.

 

Covering everything that the world delights in. Their entertainment. Their politics.

 

Once you are fond of such, you are hostile to God. Their principle. The principle of the world.

 

Using things that are not straightforward to get whatever you want. Reverse psychology. Use it to get what you want in church.

 

All that is principle of the world. He that loves such is in hostility with God. And God said, you, as his child, should therefore not love the world.

 

In 1 John chapter 2. 1 John chapter number 2, verses 15 and 16. 1 John chapter 2. Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the father is not in him.

 

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life is not of the father, but is of the world. Don’t have affection for the world. Don’t have affection for the design of the world, for the beauty of the world, for what they are after, for their system, for their organization, for their way, for their principles.

 

Don’t have desire. Don’t have fondness for them. The profession you are in is all right, but don’t have fondness for that profession.

 

If you have, then you love the world. Those in politics don’t have fondness for it. Whatever you are doing, you are holding a pinch of salt.

 

Your fondness must be to God and then to human beings, to love them. He that loves the fashion of the world, the pattern that the world does, he thinks you are a lover of the world. And God’s word says, don’t do so.

 

When you are still a man that has not had a second touch, this is possible. When a second touch takes place in your life, it is no longer possible to love the world. Except you willingly frustrate the grace you have received.

 

Anybody that has got a second touch, we are talking about purity of heart, will not have love for the world. So anybody that loves the world, loves their dressing, loves their attire, loves the things that they see in the world, that person needs this second touch. At salvation, the spirit man is touched.

 

It is called regeneration. That spirit man receives the image of God. You can call it like the gene of God.

 

Receives the nature of God. Receives the life of God. That spirit man is in the form of God’s image.

 

But a human being has a soul and a physical body. After that sanctification of the spirit has taken place, there is a need for sanctification of the body and of the soul. And the body sanctification takes place at consecration.

 

Romans chapter number 12. Sanctification means separation unto a purpose. In Romans chapter 12, Paul wrote on what we can call sanctification of the body.

 

Which is called consecration. Romans chapter 12, verse 1. I beseech you, therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

 

The first verse says, present your bodies a living sacrifice. Holy, acceptable unto God. Present your body unto the Lord.

 

The way a sacrifice is given to the Lord and doesn’t jump out from the altar. The difference is that you are a living one. You have the life of God in you.

 

That is the way you separate yourself unto God as a sacrifice. And allow him to do what he wants to do with you. In the process of that separation, feed your soul.

 

That’s verse 2. Be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind. Your mind is the realm of the soul. There is a need for that soul of yours to be renewed, to be metamorphosed.

 

So, you separate your physical body unto Jesus. Drop all those things, attire that belong to the world. The activities that belong to the world.

 

Keep away from sin. If you are in a sinful profession, you disconnect from it, leave it, and change your profession to do what pleases God. That is consecration to God.

 

To serve God. Then, you eat God’s Word so that your soul is also changed. Your soul receives God’s Word and gets changed.

 

You begin to metamorphose, begin to change. In what can be called gradual Christian maturity. Gradual Christian maturity.

 

As you are eating God’s Word, you are meditating on the Word of God. You are praying the Word. Your mind is changing.

 

You are becoming a mature Christian. But the old man in the person may still be very active until something decisive is done to that old man. And that is the thing called purity of heart.

 

Purification of heart. The old man is pulled out and that heart, heart is in the realm of the soul, is made pure. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 5. 1 Thessalonians chapter number 5. Verse number 23.

 

1 Thessalonians chapter 5. Verse 23. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly. And I pray God, your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

 

So, your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless. So, you have the spirit. That spirit that God sanctified at salvation.

 

Sanctified unto God. The coming of God’s nature at salvation. Your soul.

 

This one we are talking about the realm of the mind. Called the heart. That is the seat of your emotion.

 

Seat of your willpower. Seat of your thoughts. Where your thinking originates from.

 

Seat of your volition. Choice making. All of them are seated there.

 

You have affection. All are seated or emanate from the soul or from the heart. Where it is called the issues of life.

 

That soul needs to be preserved blameless. Something needs to be done to it so that it is pure. That what Paul prayed for the Thessalonians to have.

 

So, it is that purification of the soul that we are talking about in sanctification experience. The word of God you eat at meditation purges that soul. Removes things that are not okay.

 

And establishes God’s will. Conforming your mind to that of God. But if the old man is still seated, there is nothing that will make you to be the person you should be.

 

Until that old man is dealt with. Who is responsible for the mechanism of the flesh. That is what happens at sanctification.

 

In Galatians chapter 2. Galatians chapter 2. Verse number 20. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live.

 

Yet not I, but Christ that liveth in me. Verse 21. The life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God.

 

Which loved me and gave himself for me. This is still consecration. You consecrate as you are eating the word.

 

The word is affecting you and is leading you and is ruling you. But there is need for a definite touch. That will purge you completely from the effect of the old man.

 

And when that takes place, you will know that the promptings of the flesh are no longer there. The anger that used to prop up. You may control but you see it pushing you.

 

The hatred. The animosity and enmity. The envy that was residing in the heart is no longer there.

 

A child of God can see envy. Still can’t prop it up. If he reads the word of God on envy, he can use it to discipline it.

 

But many times such can come up again. But when a touch has taken place. Whereby what is responsible for producing that is dealt with.

 

Then you have got into what is called sanctification experience. Or holiness experience. And that is what the message is all about.

 

In Matthew chapter 5. Matthew chapter 5. Verses 44 to 45. But I say unto you. Love your enemies.

 

Bless them that curse you. Do good to them that hate you. And pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you.

 

That you may be the children of your father which is in heaven. For he maketh his son to write on the evil and on the good. And sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

 

Here Jesus talks about a standard for God’s people. Standard where love reigns. Divine love reigns.

 

The nature of God reigns in the person’s life. This love cannot fully reign if the old man is still functional. The old man will be a nuisance to oppression of love in the life of a believer.

 

It will keep on rising up to prevent love from having his way. But when the old man is dealt with. Love will have its full course in that believer’s life.

 

So Jesus said that you may be the children of your father. In other words your father is the embodiment of love. So you should be a form of embodiment of love.

 

In verse 48. Be ye therefore perfect even as your father which is in heaven is perfect. Morally perfect.

 

Morally complete. This perfection comes by love. When love is seated in any life.

 

That person is said to be matured. When love is fully functional. That person has entered the realm of perfection.

 

It doesn’t mean that the person cannot make mistakes. But the person has entered the class of the perfect. Paul said as many as are perfect let them have this mind.

 

Now we are saying that it is possible for that work to be done in the believer. Whereby the heart is purged. Isaiah chapter number 6. Isaiah chapter 6. This was the encounter that Isaiah had along the line in his life as a preacher.

 

Who was ministering to people with ferocity. Who loved God. But had still some things operating in his life.

 

Until the day that the Lord revealed it. And aided him. Isaiah chapter 6. From verse number 3. And one cried unto another.

 

Talking about Seraphim. And said, holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts. The whole earth is full of his glory.

 

And the post of the door moved at the voice of him that cried. And the house was filled with smoke. Then said I, woe is me for I am undone.

 

Because I am a man of unclean lips. And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips. For my eyes have seen the king, the Lord of hosts.

 

Then flew one of the Seraphim unto me. Having a life cold in his hand. Which he had taken with the tongues from all the altar.

 

And he laid it upon my mouth and said. Lo, this hath touched thy lips. And thy iniquity is taken away.

 

And thy sin purged. And also I heard the voice of the Lord saying. Who shall I send? And who shall go for us? Then said I, here am I, send me.

 

The man that saw, we’ll let skip verses one to three. That saw the glory and then despised himself. And said, unfortunate I am.

 

Alas, unfortunate. So this man is a person serving this holy being. I am undone.

 

I am not properly cooked. I am a man of unclean lips. In the midst of people of unclean lips.

 

That same man who was unqualified. Who saw himself as unqualified. After a touch, saw himself as I can now go.

 

So that was an experience. This can happen in the life of a believer. Many times people say.

 

Use one finger to point at people. At least three are pointing back at you. Many times people find fault with others.

 

But don’t have time to look inwards. When you begin to look inwards. You are going to see your depravity.

 

You are going to see a shortfall. And when you see a shortfall. You need to do something to take those shortfalls out of the way.

 

One of the things to be done is eating the scripture. As you eat scriptures. Meditate on scriptures.

 

In line with that thing you have found. It can challenge the thing and knock it out. But the better way and the best way.

 

Is to seek this touch of the Lord. The kind that Isaiah had. In which in a moment.

 

That old man. That life of sin. Using the mouth.

 

Reproving people in an ungracious manner. Same thing that should be said. In the bid of correcting people.

 

That thing being taken out of the way. In a moment. That is what we are talking about.

 

When speaking about purity of heart. When the old man is rooted out. And grace is now flowing.

 

Is it necessary? Yes, it is necessary. It is pertinent. It is relevant.

 

Because God we are dealing with. Is a holy God. In Leviticus 11 verse 44 and 45.

 

He told Israel. The people of Israel. I am holy.

 

So be holy. So anybody that wants to go with God. Must follow the cross of holiness.

 

Keeping away from everything. That can be seen as a spiritual stain. Anything that can stain the body.

 

Spiritually or stain the spirit. Anything that is a sin. He must keep away.

 

And do away with it. In Isaiah chapter 59. And verses 1 and 2. God revealed.

 

That the people of Judah. Or Israel rather. Were not receiving his power.

 

His manifestation. Because of their sin. Behold the lost hand is not shortened.

 

That it cannot save. Neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated.

 

Between you and your God. And your sins have hid his face from you. That he will not hear.

 

So when people carry sin. God will not hear them. God will not attend to them.

 

If somebody is born again. But still commits sin. That person will not enjoy.

 

The favor of God. As he should. Peter wrote in the same line.

 

And saying the same thing. That we see in Leviticus 11. 44 and 45.

 

As he that has called you is holy. Be holy in all manner of conversation. Because it is written.

 

Be ye holy. For I am holy. In 1 verse 13.

 

He speaks also in the same line. Thou art of purer eyes. Than to behold iniquity.

 

So if anybody is born again. And is still committing sin. Is still involved in transgression.

 

That person is repelling God. That person is keeping away from God. And keeping God away from him.

 

In Revelation chapter 21. We are showing. The relevance of holiness.

 

Keeping holy. So that this experience. That brings holiness.

 

Should be sought. In Revelation chapter 21. Verse number 27.

 

And there shall in no wise enter into it. Anything that defiles it. Neither whatsoever abomination.

 

Or make it a lie. But they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life. Anything that defiles.

 

Shall not enter into the city of God. Now. Is there any profit.

 

If this experience is God. And I begin to lead a holy life. Yes there are profits.

 

There is some profits. That comes with right living. Although the state of a soul.

 

At a particular point in time. When the person dies. Determines the person’s eternal destiny.

 

However. The profits that lie. In enjoying a pure heart.

 

Make for enjoyment of a fulfilled life. In the now. It is true.

 

That it is somebody states. At the time he dies. That determines.

 

What he becomes in eternity. So at the time of death. If somebody was carrying sin.

 

No matter how holy he was on earth. That sin he died with. Will make him never to see God in eternity.

 

If somebody had been living. Evil life. But at the moment of death.

 

Was able to have the privilege. Of saying God I’m sorry. From the depth of the heart.

 

If it was possible. Then the person says that. All the evil he has done.

 

Will be forgotten. And all his eternity will be with God. But if one is saying last moment.

 

Then I repent. Nobody knows what last moments can be. But there is the benefit.

 

Of leading a holy life. While on earth. There are blessings that go.

 

With leading a holy life. And those are the things. We want to show you.

 

That should make you desire. To lead a holy life. Now.

 

To seek the holiness experience. That will make you lead a holy life. Number one.

 

One prophet is. Revelation of the glory of God. Matthew chapter 5 verse 8. Blessed are the pure in heart.

 

Blessed are those. Whose hearts are free. Of admixture.

 

Who don’t have unbelief. Who don’t have. Envy.

 

Who don’t have any of those. Emotional toxins. Any of those toxic emotions.

 

Operating in the heart. Blessed are such. For they shall gaze.

 

At God. They shall gaze. And God will.

 

Magnify himself towards them. That they will gaze. At the manifestation of God.

 

So on earth. If somebody is following after holiness. He will gaze at God.

 

The same thing was repeated. In Hebrew 12.14. So God will show the person. That he is real.

 

He will show the person. That he is in control. And make the person.

 

Enjoy spiritual experiences. That will make you know. That there is something great.

 

Coming ahead. That you can pass through. The challenges of this time.

 

Without wavering. Because you can see the reality. Of an eternity with God.

 

In that everlasting bliss. So on earth. Number one.

 

The revelation of God’s glory. That gives satisfaction. Even though there is no food in the house.

 

There is an awareness that God is with you. There is no education. But there is an awareness that God is with you.

 

That gives you satisfaction. Number two. Prophet is freedom.

 

From the nuisance of the flesh. If you have this second touch. Called.

 

Sanctification experience. If you have it. You are freed from the nuisance.

 

Of the flesh. The flesh. Has manifestations.

 

All those works of the flesh. Anybody manifesting cannot have peace. Anybody manifesting.

 

The work of the flesh cannot have satisfaction. Whether it is fornication. Adultery.

 

If anybody manifesting. Cannot have deep peace. Cannot have real joy.

 

If there is joy. It will be superficial. Peace is superficial.

 

Because those things are offensive to the spirit man. So. The consequences.

 

Of carnal. Manifestations. Will be.

 

Kept away from the person. The person will rather. Enjoy products.

 

Of the spirit. So. You are denied.

 

Consequences of carnal manifestation. The fear. The unbelief.

 

The toxic thoughts. The toxic emotions. The negative consequences of all these traits.

 

If somebody is thinking negatively. He cannot be happy. Next thing is blood pressure.

 

Next thing is fear. All those troubles. You will not have them.

 

If sanctification experience. Is enjoyed. Is got.

 

Then you are also. Going to enjoy. Product of the spirit.

 

Which we want to read. Galatians chapter 5. These are positive things. You gain by allowing.

 

God to do by his spirit. Do some work in your life. Galatians chapter 5. Verse.

 

Number 22. And verse number 23. But the fruit of the spirit.

 

Is love. Joy. Peace.

 

Long-suffering. Gentleness. Goodness.

 

Meekness. There is no love. This product of the spirit.

 

Gives satisfaction. When the love of God is bubbling. In any life.

 

There is satisfaction. When there is joy. When there is peace.

 

There is satisfaction. There is confidence. Long-suffering.

 

Something is coming. The person is bearing. Without getting into anguish.

 

And into the state of. Despondency and despair. The person is saved.

 

From all the activities. Of the flesh. That torment and torture.

 

You see the product of the spirit. Gives grace. Abundance of grace.

 

Enables you to do God’s work better. And then when you finish. With this temporal existence.

 

What you are able to acquire. And amass through exercise. Of the spirit man.

 

Will be enjoyed in glory. So if you get into. A touch of the holy ghost.

 

Whereby the old man. Is purged. You will do better service.

 

And as a result. Of better service. You enjoy greater reward.

 

Or greater dividend. At the end of your pilgrimage. So there are.

 

Things to gain. By allowing. The holy ghost to give you.

 

A second touch. Is this second touch possible? Yes. Point three.

 

It is possible. Matthew chapter 19. Verse.

 

Number 26. With God. All things are possible.

 

Matthew chapter 19. Verse. Number 26.

 

But Jesus beheld them. And said unto them. With men this is impossible.

 

But with God. All things are possible. With God.

 

All things are possible. We are. In a period.

 

That has been described as. Hard to deal with. Laden with temptations.

 

Trials and testos of life. Making the path. Slippery for the simple.

 

And the ill educated. Or uneducated spiritually. But the understanding.

 

Of the place of God. In the achievement of. The feet of transformation.

 

Of the spirit man. And soul and body. Will make it easier.

 

For this grace to be acquired. Understanding that God. Has the capacity to transform you.

 

Spirit soul and body. That understanding. Will make it easier for you.

 

To acquire this second touch. Of the spirit. We have spoken about.

 

The touch that comes. Through the word of God. In which a person grows as a Christian.

 

But this is a touch. By the spirit of God. As it happened in the time of Isaiah.

 

In the case of Isaiah. The angel. Was sent.

 

To symbolically. Touch him with the. Coal from the altar of God.

 

That was old testament. In the new testament. There is no need for an angel to come.

 

In the new testament. You have the spirit of God. Residing in you.

 

Based on what Jesus did. On your behalf at the cross. The spirit of God in you.

 

Will give that old man. A crucifying blow. Or as we say.

 

We pull it out. The old man. The spirit of God resides in you.

 

And does that oppression. And when the oppression. Takes place.

 

You are said. To be circumcised. Circumcision of heart.

 

In Deuteronomy. Chapter 30. Deuteronomy chapter 30.

 

Verse number 6. And the Lord thy God. Will circumcise thy heart. And the heart of thy seed.

 

To love the Lord thy God. With all thy heart. And with all thy soul.

 

And with all that thou mayest live. The Lord thy God will circumcise. Himself will do the work.

 

And when that circumcision has taken place. There will be love for God. So when this work is done.

 

There will be love for God. In the heart of that beneficiary. No more struggling to love God.

 

There will be love for God. In the heart of that beneficiary. Such a person.

 

Will be estranged to sin. When the love of God. Blossoms in any heart.

 

That person becomes. Estranged to sin. That person becomes estranged to the world.

 

Things of the world. Will no longer be. Looking attractive.

 

No matter what it is. All those people. That still watch worldly things.

 

Worldly movies. It is because this touch is not there. This touch happens.

 

Those things will become abhorrent. Those people that turn to their. Naked hands.

 

And begin to look at naked women. All such things are. Expressions of absence.

 

Of this touch. When this touch takes place. Those things will be abhorrent.

 

The works of the flesh. And things that motivate the flesh. Will be abhorrent.

 

You will become estranged to sin. And estranged to the world. Dressing like people of the world.

 

Will be abhorrent. All the young men and young women. You know many times now.

 

People are talking about wearing moustache. Because you are not yet. The second touch has not taken place.

 

When it takes place. Even though there is no scripture. That we can point and say brother.

 

Go and shave. But you find out that. That thing that is the vogue.

 

For people of the world. For youth of your age. Will not interest you.

 

You don’t want to look like youth of your age. That is what happens. You don’t want to be like one that belongs to them.

 

You will become. Exclusive to the lord. Giving over to pleasing the lord.

 

You will want to be different. From your generation. All those.

 

Having problem with marriage. At time of marriage. They want to put on this and that.

 

If you didn’t allow them to put on veil and cover their faces. They want to go to some other place. To go and wed.

 

It is because this touch has not. If it takes place. You want to even be very simple.

 

Such that your pastor will plead with you. No this shouldn’t be so simple. Because these things are not nothing.

 

Your heart is giving over. To loving god. To pleasing god.

 

If it means ordinary. Ordinary t-shirt. If that is what it takes to go to the altar.

 

You wear t-shirt. Let the world say what they want to say. As far as it is order with god.

 

That is what happens when this touch is taking place. Not to be gorgeous. And then be the taste of the world.

 

Not to carry the taste of the world. So when this. Program takes place.

 

In somebody’s heart. There will be alienation. Or estrangement from the world.

 

The person is exalted. In love for god. And in holiness of life.

 

Love for god. Comes up. Lifted up.

 

Increase. And when there is love for god. There will also be love towards human beings.

 

Man. You are able to forgive people readily. You are able to do.

 

What god commands you to do. God says forgive. Forgive 70 times 7. If it happens.

 

Forgive. That heart of forgiveness is given. You are a heart that is porous.

 

That does not retain any offenses. So there will be love towards man. Horizontally.

 

And then high love towards god. Remember once there is love for god. There will be hatred for sin.

 

Love for god. Will always give you right to. Obedience to god’s injunction.

 

Doing what god commands you to do. When second touch has taken place. Exaltation.

 

In the love of god. And alienation from sin. And the world.

 

And the person’s will. Will begin to conform. What you will.

 

What you desire. Will begin to conform. With god’s will for you.

 

Which is god’s word. The person wants to lead a life. Conforming with god’s word.

 

Not my people. Not with your town’s people. Not with the people from your area.

 

What they believe. But rather what god says. This is the second touch.

 

It’s definite work. That takes place. When it happens.

 

You will know. Because all those silent sins. That take place in the mind.

 

All those silent. Toxic emotions. That nobody sees.

 

But you know. You will see them again. There will be love towards all.

 

No offense taking. No offense making. No envy.

 

No jealousy. No rivalry. All those works of the flesh.

 

Cannot be found in a sanctified heart. And if anybody. Couples.

 

Group of persons. Expose themselves to the lord. The lord will do this.

 

Because he wants his children. To be unique. He wants them to have this.

 

Christ likeness. That will make them perform spectacularly. The basis of sanctification.

 

Experience. Is finished work of Calvary. The blood of Jesus.

 

Has paid for it all. Now. Purity of heart is profitable.

 

In our pilgrimage. As it provides the atmosphere. For blossoming of this.

 

Fruit of the spirit. It provides the atmosphere. For abundance of grace.

 

And revelation. Of the splendor of God. Now.

 

There is the argument that you will go with. For your prayers. I have shown.

 

From Matthew chapter number 19. That with God all things are possible. So with that.

 

You can have this experience. Now. Your argument to God.

 

Because in Isaiah 41 verse 21. God said bring forth your strong reasons. Your reason number one is.

 

Lord. If prophet Isaiah. Who was not consciously.

 

Looking for this experience. Got it. Isaiah was not looking for it on his own.

 

He was on his own. And then God gave it to him. If he could have it.

 

Should I. That is looking for it. Not get it much more. Isaiah was not looking for it.

 

On his own. Because of the work he wants to do for God. That God wants to use him to do.

 

God gave it to him. If Isaiah who was looking for it was given. You looking for it.

 

So that you can do more of God’s work. Should he not give it to you. That is number one question you ask God.

 

Number two. Lord. Is there any harm.

 

Or loss. That you will suffer. If.

 

You do this work in me. Will you suffer any loss. Or harm.

 

By coming to do this work. The GS was describing. The doctor.

 

The doctor. Attending to a patient. After attending to a patient.

 

He does not lose. What he has learned. By attending to a patient.

 

The engineer that. Goes into construction work. Or he is employed to do work.

 

By doing that work he does not lose anything. He does not lose what he has. He does that work because.

 

He has the wisdom to do. So God. By doing this work in me.

 

Will you lose anything. Of course the answer is no. God will not lose anything.

 

By giving you this experience. Number three. Is there any gain to the Lord.

 

For keeping me unsanctified in the heart. If I am unsanctified. Lord is there any profit you are getting.

 

Because if there is a profit you are getting. We can say okay that may be the reason. Why you won’t give it to me.

 

But if there is no profit. That you will get by me. Not having this touch.

 

Lord what is delaying you. From giving me this touch. Should the Lord.

 

Shouldn’t the Lord. Much more give me. His attention.

 

So that I can do. More service for him. Since.

 

If this touch takes place. The spirit man. Is working well.

 

Fruit of the spirit in operation. The person does more work. For God’s kingdom.

 

Since I am going to be more useful unto you. Father shouldn’t you. Quickly rush.

 

And do this thing you did. In Isaiah. All Isaiah did was to.

 

Acknowledge that he. Needed a hand. That he wasn’t okay.

 

That was all he did. Alas that word. Means alas unfortunate.

 

He was a very expressive prophet. Unfortunate. I am undone.

 

I am not fully done. And God saw his need. And he acknowledged and touched him.

 

God will touch you. God will touch you. If you present this argument.

 

And after he has touched you. You learn. To preserve it.

 

The things that deal with. Sanctification experience. Are not harder things.

 

Not fornication. Not adultery. Not fighting.

 

When sanctification takes place. You can’t get into adultery. You can’t fight.

 

You cannot react. What deals with this experience. This gracious experience.

And that person brings guava. And they keep on eating indiscriminately. If you do it.

 

Before you know it. The grace will just give way. Little things.

 

So it is not. Some people will say. This hunger.

 

You want to tamper with my sanctification. No. Sanctification shows strength.

 

When something is strong. Just as the shock absorbers. Of the vehicle.

 

When it enters a pothole. It keeps the vehicle steady. So men and brethren.

 

It is the little forces. That you need to watch out for. Talkativeness.

 

Talk and talk and talk. Because you need to give the testimony. And you are having a check within.

 

Instead of keeping quiet you continue. If you continue that way. A point comes.

 

The grace dissipates. And then you need to go to God. To say Lord I have fooled myself.

 

And you must show this commitment. To getting it back. Before you get it back.

 

So if you have lost your grace. Of sanctification experience. You can get it back.

I want to lead a holy life. Give me this touch so that I can be a good ambassador of the almighty. So that I can serve you and enjoy the dividend of the product of the spirit that takes place as the sanctification experience takes place.

 

Open your mouth and talk to the Lord. Eternal Father, I want to thank you so much for the words that have been shared. Showing that purity is profitable.

 

And then we have come to the end of the meetings, showing that you don’t have anything to gain by your people being unsanctified. Neither to lose if your people are sanctified. And then seeing also that they will be more productive in your kingdom if they are sanctified.

To those that are requesting, did you not say, ask and you shall receive? If the man that didn’t ask received, should those who ask not receive much more? Lord, they should receive much more. So, Lord, I pray that as they close their prayers, as you did in my life in 1988, I don’t forget. Do in the lives of your people, in the name of Jesus Christ.

 

Let the yoke of the old man be broken. Let the spirit of God pull out the root of the old man. And let grace of holiness, grace of divine love flow into the hearts and overwhelm the hearts.
