We know that, God being omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent is unlimited. Today, He wants to reassure His people (Watchmen) that He is still the unlimited God. The Lord wants this to sink down in the hearts of the Watchmen and their friends as He proves His unlimitedness in their situations, families, bodies, careers, businesses etc. It is with this background we approach this message in two sub-headings: (1) The Unlimited God Explained (2) Proofs Of His Unlimitedness.

 

(1)    The Unlimited God Explained (Isa. 40:17; Ps. 139:8-12)

 

God is not confined or restricted to certain places or situations in His operations or works. Darkness and light are both alike to Him. He can be operating in America, India, Europe and Nigeria at the same time without being tired. He sees and knows what is going on everywhere. He answers prayers made to Him in faith everywhere without being confused. God is not restricted by men or spirits in His power to save and heal; not restricted in His strategies to trap His enemies (Amos 9:2-4). God is unlimited in resources and everything is His agent, even the ravens can be called to feed an Elijah.

 

(2)    Proofs Of His Unlimitedness (Gen. 18:14)

 

God in His unlimitedness in power to save, can save one from sin by turning one’s heart from the direction one was thinking before (Acts 9:3-6). The unbelievable, unimaginable and unexpected can take place in your life, business, career etc as the Lord proves His unlimitedness (Dan. 3:23-27). He can and does heal all kinds of sicknesses at His will (Matt. 8:8,13; Acts 5:15-16; 14:8-10). With His unlimitedness, problems can be solved in the Bible Study fellowship. He dried up the red sea in a very short time and caused water to come out of a rock. (He brought Nebuchadnezzar back to his kingdom, after seven years of being an animal without making mistake while changing his heart, brain, hands and legs) (Dan. 4:36-37). He has no stero-type way of healing people, bringing sanctification, baptism of the Holy Ghost, intervention, granting the fruit of the womb, provision etc.(Mk. 8:22-25; Acts 8:17; Isa. 37:35,36 1 Kgs. 17:14) etc.

 

Let the oppressed, possessed, afflicted and sorrowful present themselves to the unlimited God tonight and hear Him saying “My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure”, and “I will bring the counsel of the heathen to nought” because “I have pleasure in the prosperity of my servants” (Isa.46:10-11; Ps. 33:10; 35:27).

 

Let the Watchmen and their friends rise up now and pray that God will show His unlimitedness in their circumstances.
