Jesus, lead me near the cross, near the precious mountain, free to all the healing stream, flows from Calvary’s mountain. Heal the cross, heal the cross, be my glory ever, till my raptured soul shall find rest beyond the river. I want to welcome everyone.
It is time for the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. And to his world table, I want to open what we have, a drawing from far upon long ago, when he was this world of Jesus Christ. I’m looking at what he did, what he said, and that day, when one of the two women in the house, pressurized at him, told the sister, come help me to do the serving, eating and drinking, entertainment.
Lord said to her, Martha, Martha, come back, the non-essentials. To her, sister, I’m taking essential. And nobody’s going to take that essential from her.
You know the story very well. This lady came sitting at the feet of the Lord Jesus Christ and listening to the word of life. And that is what very necessary at every point in time.
These days, because of a lot of things that surround us, people miss fellowship indiscriminately. They don’t come to the house of God, become tired, consider some other things more important than the world. I beg to disagree.
When Satan came to Jesus to tempt him, he was hungry, really, and he had something to eat. And he said, God be the Son of God, prove it. Command that the stone be turned to bread so that you can eat.
Then he said, no, I can do that, but food for the belly, belly for the food, God can destroy all of them. Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. So, I want to join every person in the watchman.
Never, never from this hour to fail, listen to the word of God, read it, come to fellowship. These particular days that we’re waiting for the trumpet to sound. Now, before we get into what we have, I told the old-fashioned way, the old-fashioned way.
We need to join our music, finish us right away. As we sing the preparatory songs, these songs are supposed to inspire, to quicken our minds so that we can get ready for what we have. The song that we are singing is song number 42, Wonderful Ways of This Life.
The second one is Faith of Our Fathers, number 173. The third one is I Must Nest Go Home by the Wheel of the Cross, song number 166. And at the end, before the teaching begins proper, we will now sing the old-fashioned way.
Let’s rise and join the song’s ministers, music ministers. Sing them over again to me, wonderful ways of life. Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful ways of life.
Words of life and beauty, teach me faith and beauty. Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life. Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life.
Christ the blessed one gives to all, wonderful ways of life. Sinner leads to the loving heart, wonderful ways of life. All shall freely give them, who he knows will hear them.
Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life. Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life. Sweetly echo the gospel call, wonderful ways of life.
Offer pardon and peace to all, wonderful ways of life. Jesus, only Savior, sanctified forever. Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life.
Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life. Our dear Savior will come someday, wonderful ways of life. Come to rapture His bride away, wonderful ways of life.
Glory, glory, glory, shouts the wondrous glory. Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life. Beautiful ways, wonderful ways, wonderful ways of life.
We are going to take I must next go home by the way of the cross. Song number 166. I must next go home by the way of the cross.
There is no other way but this. I shall never get tired of the gates of light. To the way of the cross I miss.
I must next go on the blood-sprinkled way, the path that the Savior trod. If I ever climb back to the high sublime where the soul is at home with God, then I bid farewell the way of the world to walk in it nevermore. My Lord says, come, I seek my home where He waits at the open door.
The way of the cross is home. The way of the cross is home. It’s sweet to know as I onward go.
The way of the cross is home. ♪ I must next go home by the way of the cross. There is no other way but this.
I shall never get tired of the gates of light. In the way of the cross I miss. The way of the cross is home.
It’s home. The way of the cross is home. It’s sweet to know as I onward go.

So loving is never more. For my Lord stays calm and I seek my home. There he waits at the open door.
The way of the cross is home. It’s home. The way of the cross is home.
It’s home. It’s sweet to know as I onward go. The way of the cross is home.
Well, I’m going to play the song that says the old-fashioned way.
♪ Oh, how well I remember in the old-fashioned days when some old-fashioned people had some old-fashioned ways. In the old-fashioned meetings as they tarried there, in the old-fashioned manner, how God answered their prayer.
So as an old-fashioned meeting in an old-fashioned place when some old-fashioned people had some old-fashioned ways, as an old-fashioned sinner I began to pray, and God had me and saved me in the old-fashioned way. ♪ There was singing, such singing of those old-fashioned heads. There was power, such power in those old-fashioned prayers.
As old-fashioned conviction made the sinner pray, and the Lord had us and saved him in the old-fashioned way. So as an old-fashioned meeting in an old-fashioned place when some old-fashioned people had some old-fashioned ways, as an old-fashioned sinner I began to pray, and God had me and saved me in the old-fashioned way. Well, they say it is better than such is not to know, and the people in general seem to think it is so.
And they call me old-fashioned when I dare to say that I like it far better in the old-fashioned way. So as an old-fashioned meeting in an old-fashioned place when some old-fashioned people had some old-fashioned ways, as an old-fashioned sinner I began to pray, and God had me and saved me in the old-fashioned way. If the Lord never changes as the fashions of men, if He’s always the same while He is old-fashioned, then as an old-fashioned sinner saved through old-time praise, oh, I’m sure He will take me to an old-fashioned place.
So as an old-fashioned meeting in an old-fashioned place when some old-fashioned people had some old-fashioned ways, as an old-fashioned sinner I began to pray, and God had me and saved me in the old-fashioned way.
So as an old-fashioned meeting in an old-fashioned place when some old-fashioned people had some old-fashioned ways, as an old-fashioned sinner I began to pray, and God had me and saved me in the old-fashioned way. Oh, this blessed old way, it is good enough for me, it is good enough for me, it is good enough for me.
My Savior walks before me, I follow Him each day, I expect to get to Heaven by the same old way. Oh, this blessed old way, it is good enough for me, it is good enough for me, it is good enough for me. My Savior walks before me, I follow Him each day, I expect to get to Heaven by the same old way.
The way our fathers traveled is good enough for me. Though followed in the footsteps that led from Calvary, it’s led them up to glory, the land of endless days. I expect to get to Heaven by the same old way.
Oh, this blessed old way, it is good enough for me, it is good enough for me, it is good enough for me. My Savior walks before me, I follow Him each day, I expect to get to Heaven by the same old way.
It is proper that we do like Mother Mary did of old, I read that portion of scriptures and we pray. This gospel, chapter 10, I read from verse 38. Now it came to pass, as day went, that he entered into a certain village, and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard his word. Martha was cumbered about much serving, came to him and said, Lord, shall thou not care, brother? My sister hath left me to serve alone, bid her therefore that she help me. Thinking that she was fantastic, thinking that she was a better receiver of visitors, that she was mistaken.
Verse 41, and Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful, thou art cumbered, thou art concerned, preoccupied, and troubled about many things, unnecessary things, things that don’t matter, things that are nonessential. But one thing is needful, one thing is essential at this point. Mary, thy sister, hath chosen that good thing, that good path.
Thou shalt not be taken away from her. One also know that the person of whom this is written, the Lord Jesus Christ, the son of the living God, the person that owns the mystical body called the church, is coming again. And he is the word of God personified.
And he is the truth of God personified. If anybody wants to get to heaven, and you refuse to listen to the truth from Jesus, that person will not get there. Remember, JME, the old-fashioned way, designed to pray.
Join me in this prayer. Return our Father in glory, we thank you. Because we are precious.
Thank you because know that we are not fulfilling some obligation here, some preaching obligation. It is not some fanciful thing that we came to do here. I didn’t come here to be known.
Came here to declare. Very faint that God want the watchman to hear wherever they are at such a time like this. God, seeing that we are in the last days, the very last days, the tail end of the church age, the very tail end.
I pray everybody’s eyes of understanding be open. Their hearts will be open to receive the truth. And when we receive the truth, we run with the truth so that we can be qualified.
Make the rapture when the trumpet sounds. Eternity is real and near, very, very near. God, I thank you because I know you’ve answered.
Look from heaven and you see every person, holding every person in the fellowships of the watchman wherever they are. And you see every person for your eye around to and fro in the whole earth. Do yourself strong on the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward you.
Those that have come today for the first time, those that have been coming, those that have some things on their minds, those that need to know. Precious Father, the things that should be known. They’re all here.
And those that have been there, the old soldiers, they’re all there. I pray, Lord, in glory, let nobody be left behind. The things that we want to serve this day.
Thank you because I know you’ve answered the prayers. In Jesus’ name, we have prayed. And amen, and amen.
Fear him again. Old-fashioned way. The path to tread.
The way to go. The old-fashioned way is the way to go. The path to tread.
No other path. Read from Jeremiah chapter 6. Jeremiah chapter 6, reading from verse 1. This portion is a description of an impending disaster for Jerusalem. Verse 1 of Jeremiah chapter 6. O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to flee out of the midst of Jerusalem and blow the trumpet in Tekoa.
Set up a sign of fire, but Hagarim forever appeareth out of the north. And great destruction. I’ve likened the daughter of Zion, that is Jerusalem, the comely and delicate woman.
If us with their flocks shall come unto her, they shall pitch their tents against her round about. They shall feed everyone this place. Prepare ye war against her.
Arise, let us go up at noon. Go unto us. Let death goeth away.
The shadows of the evening are stretched out. Arise, and let us go by night, and let us destroy her palaces. For thus hath the Lord of hosts said, Peel down trees and cast a mountain against Jerusalem.
This is a city to be visited. He is holy oppression in the midst of her. As a fountain casteth out her water, so they casteth out her wickedness, violence, and spoils beside in her.
Before me continually is grief and wounds. That is a description of what was happening. Thou instructeth, O Jerusalem, let my soul depart from thee, unless I make thee desolate, land not inhabited.
Thou said the Lord of hosts, which hath thoroughly gleaned the remnant of Israel as a vine, turn back thine hand as a great gatherer into the baskets. Whom shall I speak and give warning? Them may hear, though their ear is uncircumcised and they cannot hearken. Behold, the word of the Lord is unto them repushed.
Have no delight in it. Therefore I am full of fury of the Lord. I am weary with holding in.
I’ll pour it out. Upon the children, I’ll broaden upon the assembly of young men together. For even the husband with the wife shall be taken, the age with him that is full of years.
And their houses shall be turned unto others with their fields and wives together. For I will stretch out my hand upon the inhabitants of the land, said the Lord. For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them, everyone is given to conventiousness.
And from the prophet even unto the priest, everyone delete falsely. I’ve heard also the heart of the daughter of my people slightly saying, peace, peace, when there is no peace. Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? No.
They were not at all ashamed. Neither could they blush. Therefore they shall fall among them that fall.
The time that I visit them, they shall be cast down, said the Lord. Now verse 16. That is a counsel.
Counsel to the people that were into their madness. It’s a counsel of the Lord. Then, also said the Lord, stand ye in the ways, and see and ask for the old paths.
Where is the good way and walk therein? Ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, not walk therein. I raised an articulation of what Jerusalem was at this point and what the Lord was said to do.
There was this articulation of what it requires. I said, stand and check for the old path. Stand ye in the ways and see and ask for the old paths.
Where is the good way and walk therein? And so I want to say to all watchmen, saying that we are in the latter days, in the days of our absurdities. In the days of fancies. The days of things that look like Christianity, but they are not.
I’m going to show you the various brands of Christianity we have for these days, operational these days. And it is on such a day that we are listening to this message titled The Old Fashioned Way. The way to go.
The path to tread. And there is this introductory remark I must make. For anyone to appreciate, receive and run with the views or the assertions articulated in this discourse titled The Old Fashioned Way.
The path to tread. That person will have asked the question, the crucial question. What brand of Christianity has the Lord ordained for the Watchmen Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement? Just coming, pastor’s son, pastor’s daughter, pastor’s wife you got married the other day, and you came into the ministry 10 years ago, or 15 years ago, or a few years ago.
And then, or you are just coming, or you are an old soldier. You must ask this question. What brand of Christianity has the Lord ordained for the Watchmen Catholic Charismatic Renewal Movement? It’s not only that question that you must ask.
You must be willing also to run with the information that comes from eyewitnesses. Let me give you an example of what I’m talking about. In 1 John chapter 1, we have this record.
1 John chapter 1, verse 1. That which was from the beginning, which we have had, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled of the word of life. Word of life here is a person. The life was manifested, and we have seen it.
And bear witness and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us. That which we have seen and heard, declare we unto you that ye also may have fellowship with us. And truly, our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full. The person that is writing is John the Beloved, who lived and lived, and was old. And then he saw Jesus, remember that this was a person that leaned on the breast of Jesus, and was very close to him.
And as a result of that, he had insight. Insight that these other people that wrote the synoptic gospels didn’t have, because none of those gospels existed in the beginning for the world, and the world was with God, and the world was God. So that insight was there.
And then, apart from that, he was an eyewitness. He saw him, he touched him, he lived with him, and on and on, and ate with him, dined with him. And then one biblical commentator of late says something.
He stoutly defended the account, the narratives, of eyewitnesses like John, and like Peter, like James, and all the people, like Mark, and then Matthew. Stoutly defended the eyewitness, called them the accounts of eyewitnesses, and was wondering how anybody can get seen those accounts, and then refer the accounts of some new religious protagonists to refer those to the thing that these people had given. What is the implication? What is the inference? The inference is, you’re coming to the watchman, you are a pastor, and you have been a pastor for quite some time, but you were not there in the beginning, and you are not the person that was given the ministry.
Some people communicated with the Lord. Some people interacted with the Lord very closely when the ministry was given. And there are the people that will tell you the brand of Christianity that we are to follow.
Now, having said this, it is believed that everyone is now asking the question, what brand of Christianity does the Lord want the watchman to follow? And everyone is saying we are willing to take the testimony of eyewitnesses. Right now, I’m going to, first of all, hear with us, but not in detail. Exegesis on what I’m going to say will follow later on.
I outline of the brands of Christianity that we have on ground today. The places where you live, where you reside, overseas, at home, everywhere, the brands of Christianity that we have today. One of such brands is the modernized, fanciful, easy, and popular brand.
Modernized, fanciful, easy, and popular brand. That’s number one. Number two, we have the smoke screen brand.
Smoke screen. S-M-O-K-E. S-C-R-E-E-N.
Smoke screen. Smoke screen is a situation where smoke is poured into the atmosphere or some obstructive something is poured into the atmosphere. And then as a result, the people over there will not see what is happening over here.
Smoke screen brand of Christianity. The other brand, third brand, is the ancient but heavily polluted brand. It is known as the warish brand.
War. The war is a hallowed. The warish brand that has polluted all the kings and the queens and everybody.
The warish brand. Ancient but heavily polluted brand. Then another brand is the satanic or rogue brand.
Rogue. Satanic or rogue brand. I am telling you the brands of Christianity we have today.
Somebody needs to be very careful. Somebody in the watchman needs to be very careful. I pity those people who will not know what is speaking.
Who will not see. Who will not read between the lines. Who will not have the insight that they should have.
Who don’t think. I am now listing the brands of Christianity that we have. And you ask me, how do I know? The Lord makes me know.
And when we go into the details, the exegesis on each brand, we come to discover that what I’m telling you is true. I said the fourth brand is the satanic or rogue brand. Then the fifth one is the big brand.
The sixth one is the hard line brand. And then the seventh one is the old fashioned brand. And it is this old fashioned brand that we have been given to follow.
Old fashioned brand. The where to go. I’m going to go into some exegesis on this.
Not a very detailed exegesis, but just something that will help us to know what we are talking about. We’re going to talk about how one enters that old fashioned way. That old fashioned way brand of Christianity.
How one enters it. And after entering it, what happens next? That is the kind of Christian life that one begins to live. How one enters it and the kind of Christian life that one begins to live.
Now, how does one enter it? A sinner man, a sinner woman, a sinner boy, a sinner girl, a sinner child, a child that has begun to know his left from his right, a sinner religious person or non-religious person, a sinner that was born in church, born by a pastor, or not born by a pastor, not born by workers, a sinner that is a functionary in church, functionary possibly singing in the choir, possibly finding, bringing into the workforce, or is a sinner, or the same, or the non-functionary. Every manner of person that is a sinner comes into this old fashioned way as follows. A person comes under some conviction, under some conviction that he or she is a sinner and is lost.
Take note, we are talking about the old fashioned way. The way, the path to tread, the way to heaven. A sinner comes under some conviction, whatever mechanism that the Lord uses, and then conviction that he or she is a sinner and is lost, not a child of God.
And then, on the note of that, on that such conviction one way or another, a person comes in prayer, and then in that prayer, a person is repenting, acknowledging, and denouncing, and confessing his or her sins, and acknowledging and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, given that Jesus Christ died for us. And then, that’s it. And the person’s sins are forgiven, and the name of the person is put in the book of life.
That is how to enter it. A sinner must come recognizing that he is a sinner. Listen to me attentively.
If somebody has done this, but later on strayed out and then wants to come back, this is the route. There is no other route. Somebody must recognize that he is a sinner.
Somebody must come to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is not sufficient for a message to go forth, and somebody will say, believe in Jesus, and then thou shalt be saved. Believe in Jesus, thou shalt be saved.
Listen to me. The person that was told that, the Filippi Angelo that was told that by the apostle, what happened? That man saw his sins. That man was convicted of his sins, and then he was the person that was given to be, to take charge of these people, and then some great earthquake happened, something happened, and then he came to know, I’m a sinner, look at the people, righteous people that are incarcerated here.
And then they said, and he asked, what do I do? He said, repent of your sins, and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, this is the way, and this can happen one way or another. There is no stereotyped particular way that this thing can happen, but the point is that it has to be like that.
Now, in Acts of Apostles chapter 20, and then the apostle says this much. From verse 17, when he was speaking to the Ephesian elders, as he was leaving them, Acts of Apostles chapter 20 verse 17, and from Miletus he sent to Ephesus, and called the elders of the church, and when they were come to him, he said unto them, ye know from the first day that I came into Asia, after what manner I have borne with you at all seasons, serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many fears and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews, and how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but I have showed you, and I have taught you publicly from house to house. What was he teaching? What was he showing? Verse 21, testifying both to the Jews and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus.
Acts of Apostles chapter 2, when they had baptism with the Holy Spirit, and then Peter preached to the people, he said repent, repent of your sins and be baptized, for the remission of your sins. So this is the root, the route, is how it went. So if you are there, and you find that even though you are in church, that you are a sinner, you have not at any time come to the Lord recognizing your sin, repenting of it, confessing and denouncing it, and then asking the Lord Jesus Christ to be your Lord and Savior, and then in all earnestness, you did that, and in all faith, that is child’s faith, believe in the Lord that he died for you, and then, and something happened, something happened, then you need to do that, because that is the only way to begin the old fashioned journey.
Now when this is done, what will follow is that sins are blotted out, and then written in the book of life, and then to prove what I’ve said, in 1 John chapter 2, I read verse 12, I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake, Ephesians chapter 4, verse 32, and be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake, for the sake of Christ, because Christ had died, had forgiven you, so these people’s sins have been forgiven, and their names written in the book of life, it was the Lord Jesus Christ that confirmed that, I said that much, in Luke chapter 10, I read him from verse 17, Luke chapter 10, reading from verse 17, sins forgiven, name written, entered into the book of life, Luke chapter 10, and verse 17, the 17th returned again rejoicing, Lord even the devils are subject unto us through thy name, and he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven, even when you were ministering, behold I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you, notwithstanding, in this rejoice not, in the scapegoats, that the spirits are subject unto you, rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven, it is the action of repentance, and faith toward Christ, Christ’s faith, that brings his experience, and not only that experience, there is something that happens, the earnest of God’s spirit, is given into the heart, into the mind, into the system of that person, earnest simply means, the deposit of the spirit of God, doing ownership, of that person by God, at that point in time, and then, on that we have, the following scriptures, in Romans chapter 8, Romans chapter 8, we read, here, verse 9, Romans chapter 8, verse 9, that ye are not in the flesh, but in the spirit, if so be it that the spirit of God dwell in you, now if any man have not the spirit of Christ, which is also the spirit of God, he is none of these, in first Corinthians chapter 3, we’re reading verse 16, first Corinthians, chapter 3 and verse 16, know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwell in you, now, the earnest of the spirit is, imparted into this person, to indwell the person, in second Corinthians, reading, chapter 5, verses 4 to 5, we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened, not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life, and he that hath wrought us for this, that same thing is God, who also hath given unto us, the earnest of the spirit, earnest means a deposit, doing that, he or she, they belong unto me, now listen to me, on achieving this status, and doing whatever that is needful, to have what we call assurance of salvation, what follows, the person’s mind is agitated, one day’s experience is gotten, the person’s mind is agitated, what’s the meaning, tired, person’s spirit mind is agitated, is tired, and the following will ensue, the person’s mind who has gotten into this experience, who has gotten this entry, is agitated, is tired, and then what will follow is as follows, one, hatred for anything seen, so if somebody tells me, that I’ve entered the old fashioned way, I’m a child of God, but doesn’t hate seeing, the person is a liar, bloody liar for that matter, the person is deceiving himself, or herself, this is what happens, hatred for seeing, of course, next thing that happens is, love for the Lord, who has forgiven his or her sins, and saved him or her, that’s what begins, love for the Lord, Lord Jesus Christ did not have any meaning in times past, for the person, the Lord Jesus Christ has so much meaning, that is the point, that is the truth, you cannot do without him, if he sees a book, concerning Jesus, he wants to grab it and read, he hears somebody preaching, on Jesus, he wants to stand by, and to listen, that is what happens, now, next thing that follows, love for God’s word, in different forms, loves to read that word, loves to listen to that word, loves to listen to it, as it goes to fellowship, it is not this thing, that we are finding today, that people tell us, that they are in the old fashioned way, but they don’t listen to God’s word, at all, God’s word does not have any meaning, they come to church, and they are running around, and the next moment, as the church service finishes, they open the phone, to begin to shout, to begin to call, everywhere in the world, and to do some nasty, frivolous things, these ones, are not, playing, the old fashioned way, love for God’s word, love for God’s house, the regular gathering, of the people of God, today, we find that very many people, are backsliding, a lot of depreciation, a lot of deterioration, the truth be said, if you find that, the day of fellowship, won’t make any meaning to you again, you could go sleeping, you could go on a journey, and discriminate, you could remain, in your place of work, in your place of business, in your place of trade, now, you have a problem, in the recent past, the last meeting, during the eastern meeting, the meeting was supposed to start, on Friday, in the morning, but I heard that people, some of the places of the work, must start in the evening, because they needed to allow, the people to go trade, do business, in order to sell ways, against the eastern celebration, poor souls, I am sorry, not cursing you, not abusing you, I am sorry, if you were God, if you were God, if you were God, would you accept that, now, you treat him, like a desiccant, you treat him, as a second rate person, and you treat your wife like that, and she will accept it, and you treat your husband like that, and he will accept it, and you treat your mother like that, or your father like that, or your uncle, that saw you through education, and he will accept it, can you treat your sibling, that was very beneficial to you, and you will accept it, let us be worried, let us be sure, that we are not, we are not playing, we are not playing pranks with God, because you cannot play pranks with God, but when I had it, I shook my head, in disbelief, what a thing, what a thing, that is not the old fashioned way, the old fashioned way, is a way of loving the Lord, loving his house, now, this person, that I have gotten in, and whose mind has been agitated, and striated, we love communion with the Lord, in regular prayer session, that is how it, that is what happens, love for communion with the Lord, in prayers, another thing that occurs, is that love for his work, some form of service for him, some form of service for him, will occur in the heart of the person, the person that is, that has entered the old fashioned way, now, an awareness, that he has become a pilgrim, and he is now on a pilgrim’s journey, turns on the person.
now, use this to, to vet, to judge, what you have, use it to vet, and judge what you have, if you have had it in times past, but it is no more flowing, then there is deterioration.
some years ago, some years ago, I was with somebody, and we are driving, we come out from the street, and then wanted to turn somewhere, and then somebody just wanted to, you know, join in, bang into the vehicle, and then the person that was with me in that vehicle, made a comment, if you spoil this vehicle, you must pay, the way it was said, wow, shortly the person realized that this is a deterioration, I wouldn’t have said that before, if you spoil this vehicle, you must pay, at another time, I was driving with somebody, and then somebody, a pedestrian, made the mistake of wanting to enter, their brother shouted and said, you want to die? They suddenly, recognized that, no, this is not the way, of those that is backsliding, and this is what led to this, at another time, I was riding, and then we were going on a highway, and somebody came and overtook us, just without any, any, any information, no honing, and then, brother was with me, said, mad person, and then suddenly turned and said, I’m sorry, what am I trying to say? And I witnessed that, you are now on a pilgrim’s journey, and you cannot afford to, do anything, say anything, the way you used to say before.
in 1st Peter, chapter 2, 1st Peter, chapter 2, and verse 11, Dearly beloved, I beseech you, as strangers, strangers and pilgrims, strangers and pilgrims, strangers in this world, and pilgrims, somebody that is a pilgrim, goes to a place of pilgrimage, he has to go back, he has to go home, we are here, as pilgrims, for a while, we are, we must go home, and you know the song, the song, we must go home, by the way, of the cross.
and now, these are the things, that, become, the experience, of the person, that’s entered, into the, old-fashioned way, I have now become, a member, of God’s kingdom, and God’s house on earth, I haven’t been in the world, yet, by the spirit of God, through this old-fashioned way, his or her life, is now controlled, listen to this, his or her life, is now controlled, ruled, directed, influenced, by all the strategic, or crucial demands, requirements, rules, principles, read, or shown out, through teachings, summons, exhortations.
I said that again, having now become, a member of God’s kingdom, and God’s house, the body of Christ, the mystical body of Christ, and haven’t been, in the world, by the spirit of God, through this old-fashioned way, his or her life, is now controlled, ruled, directed, influenced, by all the strategic, or crucial, demands, requirements, rules, principles, that he reads, from the scriptures, or that are shown out, through preaching, through exhortation, through summons, and, do now discover, some things, following. The life you will now live, is what we are going to now, itemize. What am I itemizing, is simply, a fraction, a fraction of, usually, takes place.
Let me call what I want to itemize, the basic things, the fundamental things, that follow, that, shows that this person is, on the old-fashioned way.
A person must now, live to please the Lord. A person now, must live, he begins to, live his life, to please the Lord, in thought, in word, in actions, and reactions, in the company that he keeps, and in the habits, and so, is mindful, of this always.
Listen to me, that is the way, of, the, old-fashioned way. Begins to live, to please, the Lord. Word, in action, in thought, all the time.
In the place of work, in the place of business, no compromise. In the marketplace, while, on a journey, while, at home, in the midst, of relatives, while, in school, in the midst of schoolmates, and classmates, this person, recognizes that he, is, a pilgrim. She is a pilgrim.
She doesn’t belong, to this bandwagon, of sinners. The place where he’s living, know that I am not one of these people. Recognizes that, he is a different person.
This is a, old-fashioned way, that can really, that is timeless. If something is timeless, it means it does not, it’s not for this time, and not for the next hundred years. If something is timeless, it’s for now, and for the next one million years.
For the past, for the present, and for the future, through to eternity. So, this is, life that he lives. 2 Corinthians chapter 5, and verse, 14.
Verse 14, through to verse, 15. 2 Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 14. For the love of Christ, constrained us, because we don’t judge, that if one die for all, then, we are all dead.
Listen to me. This love of Christ, that constraining, you know, may not even be very, what word do I use? Conscious. He is unconsciously, that thing that is happening, is not even conscious of it.
You know that, you can be living a holy life, not knowing that it is called, sanctification. And then he find that, because of, what he has received from the Lord, and the love that he now has for the Lord, and now, needs to live for him. I cannot afford to live for myself, without knowing that, it is written in the scriptures here.
Without knowing it. For instance, when, I came into this, old fashioned way, I had illness, that I was struggling with. And then, somehow, I knew, that, I had come to Jesus, and there was no way, he was going to cast me out.
I didn’t know where, that, statement was made in the scriptures, because I just came. I was, JJC, Johnny just came. But I knew it somehow, and I continued talking with him, talking to him, talking to the Lord, until all those things, fizzled away.
So, that is what happens. And this person begins to realize, God has forgiven my sins, look at me, look at a drunkard, look at a womanizer, look at a bloody person, look at, look at me, look at what God has done for me, look at what Christ has done for me, what will I pay him with? To find him, I am talking about, somebody that, has entered genuinely, into the, the old fashioned way. This is what happens.
Begins to live for the Lord, and not for himself. If you find, any person, that is in the house of God, living for himself, does not bother about, pleasing God, forget the person. Don’t make a friend of the person, don’t become an enemy of the person.
Because the person, the person, maybe, he had it before, but the person has deteriorated, has backslidden. The person living for himself, he doesn’t care, whether God is interested, in his ways, he doesn’t care, she doesn’t care, whether God is interested, the way he talks, the way he approaches people, and then the things that he does, with people, relationships. Don’t befriend the person, avoid the person.
I didn’t say hate the person, Bible commands you to avoid the person, because if you conclude to the person, you can get the bug, you can be polluted. In 1 Thessalonians chapter 4, reading verse 1, furthermore then, we beseech you brethren, and exhort you, by the Lord Jesus, that as you have received of us, how you ought to walk, and to please God, so you would abound more and more. You walk and please God, instead of abound more and more.
This is what happens, the person now, wants to please God, in everything. He, she now, wants to become, and then makes himself available to become an ambassador of Christ, by precept and practice. Being like him, as the Lord has commanded.
This is how the person in the old fashioned way, lives his life. An ambassador for Christ. By precept and practice.
What do I mean by that? Now he is preaching to people, telling relatives, telling cousins, telling siblings, telling mother, telling children, come follow me, give your life to Jesus. But he’s not doing that, only that way. He’s not doing that, being ambassador for Christ, that way.
But he’s being ambassador for Christ, by practice. And the people, will be looking at, at him, and then, and then be saying, but something has happened. That’s exactly what happened to me.
I had a friend, we are very close, and then, there was nothing that I did, that he didn’t know, that he did, I didn’t know, we were very fast friends. And I was maybe one year older than himself, but he was bulkier. And then at some point, in our lives, we had misunderstanding, and then, enmity setting.
And then, thought, I wasn’t there, when his relatives judged the matter. I wasn’t there, and they judged the matter and told him that you were at fault, go and beg your friend. And that day, he came in repentance, and I was to cry.
I couldn’t understand how he humbled himself and broke down to beg me. Was bulkier, and then I said, and then friendship began again. And then he became born again first before me.
And then, in 1974, about mid of the year, wrote me a letter talking about Jesus, saying Jesus Christ, don’t you know that Jesus Christ was going about serving sinners? And what did I do? I said, what? What kind of message is this? And that end of year 1974, I went to the village, and he came back from the city where he was living. And I was observing him. He was an ambassador for Christ by precept and practice, who asked me to come follow him to fellowship.
The word fellowship was not, was not fanciful. I didn’t understand what fellowship meant. I didn’t attend, but I watched his life, and I found that he was an ambassador for Christ.
Everything had changed. It was amazing. Then, I was so moved by what I saw.
Before I left, back to where I stayed, where the city I live, I made a prayer, a passionate prayer. That prayer is, Lord, what you did for my friend, I call this name, do for me. Eleven words.
Seven and a half months after, that same thing happened. This person was an ambassador for Christ. And that is how the people that get into the old-fashioned way, that’s how they leave.
And they recognize that being ambassador for Christ, they want to be like him. And then, whether they know this creature or do not know this creature, this is what automatically unfolds. Now, look at what the Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew’s Gospel, chapter 11.
Matthew’s Gospel, chapter 11, and verse 28. Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me.
And you’ll find that these people that are in this old-fashioned way, they learn of him, they emulate him, they want to be like him. That’s why we have this testimony in John’s Gospel, chapter 1. That’s the testimony of John, the beloved. John, chapter 1, and I read verse 16.
John, chapter 1, verse 16, and he says, and of his fullness of all we receive, the fullness of his characteristics, the received, the imbibed, of his, of the fullness of his characteristics, his qualities, of all we receive. And grace for grace, grace for grace means characteristic by characteristic. Attribute by attribute.
So this is what follows. Another thing that follows is that the person must not leave his or her life in such a way that his or her life does not constitute a stumbling block, does not scandalize any person, that will make the person now refuse or reject the Gospel message. This is very, very, very, very important.
This is the way, the old-fashioned way. Anything other than this, a person is a joker. Now, see, when somebody is living the old-fashioned life, let’s take a husband.
You cannot afford to allow yourself to get into some things that will scandalize. What is the meaning of scandalizing? See him, see him, see him, see the and your wife saying see pastor in their mind. The husband is saying see, see the school teacher, see woman leader, see the person that brought me to church, see how she is talking, see the reaction, and all the people around, Look at the woman, this kind of person, look at him rambling, look at the toxic woman, look at his ways, look at pride, look at arrogance, look at talkativeness, look at toxic nature, look at reactions, look at how he has a domineering spirit, wants everybody to bow, look at how she is going and shaking her bum bum, and wants us to go to church.
The person that has entered, here is a woman, she doesn’t wear any dress, any how dress. Wears a dress and sees that the dress has brought out all her contours, and goes to the mirror and says, but this, this, no, no, no, no, no, it’s not good for me. I’m a woman, I have a delicate body, delicate skin, delicate voice, and then if I go like this, some man will be lost.
But the people of the present day who are not in this way, you know what I always say? I must cage myself, I must be in prison because of you. Take note of yourself, go and arrange yourself, go and control your mind. I must be in bondage.
The people of the present day, whatever you say, must I be in bondage because of the brother? I must wear the short skirt, I must wear the one that reveals the lines of the pants. I must wear the one that reveals the lines of the brazier. I must wear the one that has this cleavage here so that some part of the breasts are popping out.
And they tell us, God does not look on the outward, who tells you that? God looks in the inward. And then they don’t care that some other person is saying, this person. Some people like that went to preach to somebody.
And somebody said, these people, they seem to be this kind of people, are these not hallows? And all that. The people that are in the old fashioned way, they are very mindful of how they conduct their lives, in the public, on the bus, anywhere. In the meetings in the villages, in the, among their king’s men, how they talk, how they react.
Listen to me, when I was just one year old, in the Lord, and then I was going, and then preach to people in the place where I was living, and then pray, go to fellowship. And only one year old, I’ve not been able to take care of some things, some manifestations, some offense. And so, I was talking to somebody about Christ, I repented.
But his life was not set in proper. And now, the thing that should yield this kind of life had not happened. And then, I’d be speaking to one young man, who was fraudulent.
He would receive medicines from a pharmaceutical company, somebody working in a pharmaceutical company, would steal some medicines, and put in the container in his scooter, Vespa, and then come and sell at a give-away price to this young man. He did not bother about that. And so, one day, he saw me on the corridor, and I was talking with somebody, preaching the gospel.
And then, he passed, and turned, and said, Aloysius, is anger seen? I said, yes. He walked away. My mind rests back.
Oh, yesterday, there was somebody that did something in this compound, and I manifested some offense. I left my preaching. I went into the house, and lay on the floor, crying unto God.
I have become a scandal. I have become a scandal. Look at what this person said.
That action, I’ve seen that he didn’t bother about his sin, but he was bothered about this. So, they lived their lives. The pastor lives his life in such a way that members of the congregation will not say, look at him.
But today, this is not what we’re having. Today, it is not what we’re having. Among the people that have entered into all those brands that I’ve mentioned, and all of us are claiming that we are Christian, but those people that make other people not to receive the gospel hinder them from coming to church and listening to anybody.
And then, somebody is preaching and said, is it not one of you that did such-and-such thing in the place of work? Is it not one of you that behaved this way? And I know it, and you are talking to me. Go and sit down. Go and sit down.
Shut up your mouth. And don’t tell me all that bullshit. Then, those people are not on the old-fashioned way.
Look at the people that are the old-fashioned way. Look at the life they live. In 1 Corinthians.
1 Corinthians chapter 10. 1 Corinthians chapter 10. I’m going to read verses 32 and 33.
Give no offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God. Listen. Give no offense.
That is, don’t constitute a stumbling block. Don’t be a scandal. Don’t live scandalous life.
Don’t speak things that are scandalous, that will prevent the people. We said, not yet, and said, what kind of thing is this? Don’t do anything that is scandalous. I said, give not an offense to who? The Jews.
The Jews are religious people. Religious people in church. He said, don’t live a scandalous life.
There are some religious people in church, and they have not become born again. And they are washing everybody. They are washing the pastor.
They are washing the pastor’s wife. They are washing the children of the pastor. They are washing the workers.
They are washing the women leaders, and every category of persons. And the people that are singing the choir, every category of persons. They are washing them.
In the places where we live, in the places where we work, they are all washing. And then he said, do not be a scandal unto the religious people. Do not be a scandal unto the people, the Gentiles, the people that are outside the kingdom.
They don’t come to church, but you meet them in the secondary school. You meet them in the university. They are your colleagues.
That is, they are your classmates, or they were your classmates, and schoolmates, or they are presently your classmates, schoolmates. Do not be a scandal. You are a lecturer.
Do not be a scandal. You are a student. Do not constitute yourself a scandal, a person that people will see something in the person and will refuse and call everybody a thief.
Listen to me. A number of years ago, we were going on the highway, and then one of our pastors was driving the vehicle. And then I was sitting.
And then the law enforcement agent on the highway pulled us up. And then as the pastor pulled up a little by the corner of the road. Now, the man wanted him to pull up properly, and then was offended.
I was offended. And then the pastor wound down his glass and said, I am pastor. He said, what pastor? Shut up, you’re mad.
Nonsense. Some of you, look at what some of you did. Look at what was trending.
And he was referring to what was trending, what somebody was seen doing, what a pastor did. And he was angry. Come on back.
Pastor what? And then when I saw that he was angry, I looked at his name tag, and I discovered that he came from a particular ethnic group in Nigeria. I came out from the vehicle. I went and held his shoulder, and then spoke his language.
And then that meted him, and they said, you can go. He was angry that you said you’re a pastor. Look at what pastor did.
Presently, everywhere in the world, everybody is a pastor. Everybody is a minister. Everybody is a man of God.
And then terrible things are happening. And then the people are scandalized, and the people are talking nonsense concerning this most holy faith. Now, he says, give no offense, neither to the Jews, nor to the Gentiles, nor to the church of God.
That is, the people that are in the house, the people that are religious, the people that are not in the church, and the people that are in the church. Don’t be an offense to them. Don’t scandalize them.
In 1 Peter chapter 4 and verse 14, If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, I pray ye, for the spirit of glory and of God rested upon you. On their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified. There are people, he was contrasting the people on whose part, that is, because of whose life, their good way, is evil spoken of.
Because of who, the message of Christ is evil spoken of. Because of who, everything God is irritating, that anybody says. And he said, there are these other people, because of whom the Lord is glorified.
In Matthew chapter 23, we read verse 13. We warn to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men. For ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye, allow ye them that are entering to go in.
So, the people that I know fashion well, they are mindful of that. Not to cause a hindrance to anybody. Not to cause a hindrance to anybody, to a boy, to a girl, to an adult, to whosoever in the society.
They are mindful of that. Because they know that the consequence is grave. The consequence is grave.
I saw somebody that I knew in 1975. When I became born again, I knew him in fellowship. And he was one of the stout members of that fellowship.
One of the leaders, celebrated people, that fellowship. It was only many, many, many years later. What happened? This individual had proposed to marry a sister.
That sister, relatively speaking, was a new convert. We followed her up. And now, that sister, in the days of being not born again, she had been impregnated and had a boy.
But at this time, she was surely born again. And this individual proposed to her. And the elders of the fellowship had known it.
And the news had come. And it was interesting. Very shortly, very shortly, then as we visited the woman, the woman was now murmuring.
And I said, Can you see now? You cheated me. If you like, I’ll bring the letter that you wrote to me. I won’t marry you again because you didn’t go to school.
And we didn’t bother to receive the letter. And do you know what happened? That lady quit the faith. And then went back to her boyfriend.
And the next moment, she became pregnant. And I met this person at the airport many years after. I went to him.
I said, Excuse me. You know me. He looked at me steadfastly.
And I mentioned the fellowship. And he recognized me. But somehow, I couldn’t confront him with this.
So he’s become a big person. Now, you met somebody to pass light. And then you’re going to heaven.
A doubt. You met somebody to throw in the towel. So all these people that are claiming to be Christians and are in the Watchman, all the husbands, all the wives, all the workers, all the pastors, all the singers, all the various kinds of workers, and all the commotions, commotive marriages, commotive and fair marriages that we are having, commotive relationships that we are having.
Now, take note. Take note that some people are watching. And if we don’t repent, if we don’t repent and then make amendments, we are going nowhere.
Let nobody be deceived. God is not mocked. I want to say that the key of heaven is not in your pocket, in your handbag.
Somebody owns the place. And the rule the person has put down, that’s the rule you must keep. The Lord Jesus Christ is the one that said in chapter 18 of the same Matthew.
Chapter 18, Matthew, and verse 6. But whoso shall offend shall cause to fall, shall scandalize. One of these little ones we believe a man, it were better for him that a millstone, heavy stone, used for grinding, were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Is that not a serious talk? Is that not a serious talk? Is that not a serious talk? One year into my becoming born again, I went on fellowship on a Sunday, and then an elder saw me on a Monday.
Every person had gone to work in the streets of Lagos, and they saw me. It was a particular point, a roundabout, and then I was on this ride. But he was there, and he beckoned upon me, and I crossed with great respect.
And then he began to criticize the message of yesterday at the fellowship. I was scandalized. I was looking at him.
I didn’t utter a word. I’m a newcomer. I’m a babe.
Do you want us to stay in the street and begin to criticize the message your colleague gave in the fellowship yesterday? I didn’t say a word. I was scandalized. After a while of seeing that I didn’t say a word, he told me to go, and I crossed the other side of the road and went my way, and the thing was bothering my mind.
Yes, you are there criticizing Watchman. You’re a pastor, and your children are hearing, and all the people that are outside are hearing, and your relatives are hearing, and your colleagues are hearing in the place of work, and you’re criticizing Watchman, GS, Church, everybody, and then you are talking, and then you are talking, and the people are listening. See them, and then somebody now comes to invite them to a fellowship.
We say, which fellowship? Which fellowship do you want me to attend? Those that are on this old-fashioned way. They avoid this, and they don’t do all such things, and when they get into error, they go do restitution. Now, to ensure that they remain in this lifestyle, in this status, you know what they do? Always search their lives.
According to what is written, examine yourself. They examine themselves from time to time as per what is written in 2 Corinthians 13, verse 5. They grow in grace, and in the characteristics found in Jesus Christ, and they seek sanctification and baptism with the Holy Spirit. Listen to me.
Sanctification can be a gradual experience or an instantaneous experience, and then even if you got sanctification instantaneously, there is continual sanctification. What do I mean by that? You went out on a journey, and then you saw some things, and then the things wanted to affect your mind, your thought line, and then to pollute your mind, but you come back, come and say, God forbid, I cannot think this way. That is continual sanctification, but you may have gotten sanctification at the initial.
Now, so the people, they seek cleansing, cleansing, removal of all the nasty tendency, nasty nature of the natural mind. Shortly, we’re going to begin a series, seminar also, marriage seminar shortly. We’re going to begin, and then in that marriage seminar, we’re going to show how you get the will of God and so on and so forth and what happens, and when you come in proper, the life that you must live, if you don’t live that life, what will happen is commotion.
Hell will be let loose on earth, and then we will show how that wherever hell had been let loose on earth is as a result of what? The nasty nature of the natural mind playing in the lives of the people. They didn’t take care of all those things. They didn’t remove the things they are known for, the things they brought into this life.
There are people that brought into this life suspicion. Everything that you say, they suspect it. They read wrong meanings into everything that you say.
There are people that came into this life, and they are self-centered. Everything must be to their advantage, even if the other person is dying. They don’t want to care.
They are self-centered. They want their interest to hold. There are those that will talk, and they will not allow any other person to talk.
There are those that have some ethnic sentiment, ethnic jingoists, and then, but if you manifest any ethnic sentiment, they get angry. There are those that are saucy. They are nasty.
They are proud. In their lineage, they are proud because of their stature, because of their intelligence, because of their prowess one way or another. They look down upon some other people, and then, they don’t accommodate anything.
They say, I am too big for this. I am too big for that, and then, when they get married, and they get married to somebody that is not as intelligent as others, they will say, look at you. You are lucky that I have married such a dunce.
They will manifest all these things. Some manifest brutality. Some manifest offense.
Their anger is uncontrollable. That’s it, and so, when the woman is manifesting and the man is manifesting, then, her is let loose, and that is what we see today, and that is what makes me say there are many, many people outside the church, inside the church, that are marriageable, but they are not marriable. We are going to come to that.
Marriageable, because you have reached 30, you have reached 25, you have reached the age of being married, but you are not marriable because you don’t have the qualities, qualities to become a wife or qualities to become a husband. So, here we come.
Now, the people that are going in this way, there are people that are taking their time, and then, you preach on sanctification, they pursue it and get it. You preach on baptism with the Holy Spirit, they pursue it and get it, and then, it is now this old-fashioned way that constitutes, I mean, that is the pilgrim way, and that is the pregrace way of life, and it lives in this lifestyle through to the end.
You ask him, why? He knows that it is only in this old-fashioned way that one can enter the kingdom of God. I don’t see the kingdom of God to be a place where carefree people, people who don’t bother, go.
People who only say, oh, we are made, we are justified by faith. Yes, we are justified by faith, not by what, but shall sin continue and grace will abound when sin is continuing. If you are justified by grace, by the death of Jesus Christ, shouldn’t you know that you should, you owe that person, you owe him something.
If somebody does something good for you, do you pay him with evil? If somebody does a good thing for you, one good turn, should he not deserve another? So, now, our people don’t care. They don’t care what they say. They don’t care what they wear.
They don’t care the life they live, lavish life. And then, the people are watching. And then they are saying, so these ones are Christians too.
These ones are going to heaven. If these ones go to heaven, I’ll be there before them. I am better than this individual.
So, these people that are on the old-fashioned way, they know that this is what it takes to get into heaven. How do they know? They read between the lines and believe Jesus. The Lord Jesus Christ said, strive to enter.
Because, I tell you, many will want to enter, but will not be able. They want to enter, but will not be able. Now, if this be not true, so Jesus was a liar.
What is the meaning of striving? You make effort. Walk out your salvation with fear and trembling. You don’t just joke with it.
I am born again. I am Christian. No, they know that you have to strive to enter.
They know, they observe some particular rules. One of the rules they observe, that here, by the way, I exercise myself to have a conscience, to have a void of offense toward God and toward man. So, they search themselves.
Is there anybody that I hate? Is there anybody that his presence nauseates me? Is there anybody that I am agitated? My mind does not accept. And then I just don’t like him. They are asking those questions.
Is there anybody that has done something against me and I refuse to forgive the person? Is there any such person? They question themselves like that because they are very conscious. They are very conscious of having a conscience void of offense toward God and toward man. They exercise that.
And they know the word of God that says, follow peace with all men. Follow peace with all men. Follow peace with all men.
All men means all men, all women, every person. Your boss, your employee, your servant, your maid, your colleague, your cousin, your sibling. Follow peace with all men.
And holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Let brotherly love continue. In the present day, there is a lot of feuding.
A lot of feuding. But the old-fashioned Christianity is not allowed. Feuding is not allowed.
Friendship is allowed. And so, now, because of the fact that this is non-negotiable, then the Lord has programmed it for the Watchman Catholic Arithmetic Renewal Movement. Not only that, but because of the fact that it has given the Watchman Catholic Arithmetic Renewal Movement to be even a chieftain in the business of preparing the bride of Christ for the rapture.
And that bride, according to God’s word, Jesus Christ said in John chapter 14, I go to heaven, go back, prepare a place in my father’s house. There are many kingdoms. That is my father’s kingdom.
There are many houses. I go prepare the places. I finish.
I come back. Receive you to myself so that where I am there, you can be. He is coming again.
But he is coming for those that are living this kind of life. He is coming for those that are waiting for him. For those that are friends.
For those that are saying, come Lord Jesus. For those that can eat together. Some time ago, I said to some people, to some group of women, who among you can cook some good dish? And then I said, hello, sister, I have some good dish that I cooked.
Follow me. Back home. Hello, follow me.
Back home. And then when I finished that, and was walking out, somebody came and held my feet, and said, this world has found us out. Today, they are outsmarting one another.
Even those that God has given such a ministry. Now says the Lord, I found me from the womb to be a servant. Bring Jacob again to him.
Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the Lord. My God shall be my strength. And he said, it is enlightened that thou should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, that is the denomination, and to preserve Israel.
I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles. Thou mayest be my salvation. Means of salvation.
To the ends of the earth. How can somebody be engaged in that, and then be fighting against that thing which is engaged in? By his attitude. By their ways.
By their pursuit. By the love of money. By what they do when it comes to money.
How can that be? And such a person is saying, a Christian. There is no other way. I remind you of the brands that exist today.
I want to remind you, the brands that exist today. One, the modernized, fanciful, easy, and popular brand. Everything goes.
Every man or person is a Christian. Every person is a Christian. Our Lord is a Christian.
The mischief maker is a Christian. The fraudster is a Christian. Everybody is a Christian.
Because a person has to come to an altar call. I receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior. And that’s the end.
Modernized, fanciful, easy, and popular brand. Some of these, among these people you’ll find the faith only brand. Faith only.
Faith only. Everything is faith. Faith only.
Faith only. Faith is good. But, the Bible says, without faith it’s impossible to please God.
But the Bible says, without holiness no man shall see the Lord. Then, you have, the smokescreen brand. Among the charismatics I will show, when we begin to go to details.
Smokescreen. I followed some part of the scriptures, and then added those things that are not scriptural, and then as a result of those things that are not scriptural, the mixture, as a result of the mixture, now, because of the fact that some element of truth is being followed, now, and the mixture is there, now, nobody will now know that that’s a smokescreen. This now, will now make it appealing.
Oh, that’s a smokescreen. Now, you have the popular, big, ancient, but heavily polluted brand. The war-rich brand.
And you have the satanic, rogue brand. The satanic, rogue brand, Christian people, so-called, are the people, the pastors, who, we don’t know, born again. Some of them go to get some things, and then the next moment, people follow them.
And there are no children of the kingdom, that know it. Some of them do not know it. Some demons, operate with them.
The next moment, they are to sin. And then say many, many things. Somebody comes out, and say many, many, many things.
But they know, that there are no children of God. They know where they are apart from. They know that they are soothsayers.
And then, these ones, rogue, brands. Satanic, rogue, brands. The brand, that takes you, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the old fashioned way.
The path, to prayer. Watchman, brother, watchman, pastor. Old fashioned way, whose details, just, a fraction, of the details, we have, tried to, bring, across to us, is the, path, to tread.
That is the path to tread. Don’t bring, another thing. Don’t introduce, another thing.
Don’t, introduce, the fanciful things. Don’t introduce, the fanciful things. Don’t introduce, the things that you see, that are fanciful, that are gorgeous.
Don’t introduce them. Because, this place, will not accept them. Listen to me, the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, are different from the waters of the, Pacific Ocean.
The one, has a lot of, the density, is, a lot of impurities. The one, the density is higher than, the other. The waters of, a river, called, Abanze, the eastern part of Nigeria, are different from the waters of, the river called, Oras.
And, they don’t mix. The reason is, a lot of impurities, making, and salt, and so on and so forth, making the density of this one, not be, be the same with that. So they don’t mix.
If you take a cup, and go to the confluence, of, the Abanze River, and the Oras River, in the eastern part of Nigeria, and then you take a cup, of, the Oras, waters, and pour into, the Abanze, will go back. So the wash man, is, like the Abanze, I’ve said it before, the waters of Oras, will not be accommodated.
What are you going to do? What are you going to do? You know, these days, somebody will say, I have my mind, I can, I can propound the doctrine, and some people are bragging, I can propound doctrine, that is your doctrine.
How is it my doctrine? That’s your doctrine, I can propound the doctrine, I have my mind, you’re the only person, are you the only person going to, are you people only, I didn’t say we are the only people going to, and remember that I didn’t talk about, denomination, when I talked about, the branch of Christianity, I’m not talking about denomination, I’m talking about, the practices of people, and these people, that are practicing, this branch of Christianity, can be in the wash man, it can be anywhere. We are not talking about denomination, we are talking about, branch, that people are practicing. So, take your time, this is, wash man, Catholic, charismatic, renewal, movement, and what the Lord, the branch of Christian life, the Lord has given to us, is what you have had.
And that is what guarantees, eternity, with Christ. And so, as we call back, music ministers, and the good singer, the old rugged way, need to go back, memory lane, listen to me everybody, somehow, it looks evident, that all of us, without exception, all of us, may have, suffered, deterioration, in these matters. Wherever you find, that there is deterioration, all you need to do, is to come back to the Lord.
The Lord Jesus Christ said, with men, it’s impossible with God, all things are possible. What does that mean? If somebody comes to God, and then says, Lord, you have your spirit, Lord, this is what you want, Lord, you have your qualities, you cannot hold the qualities, transfer the qualities to me, that I have incapacitation, why would the Lord not help the person? Is it not written, that he is the one, which walketh in us, both to will, and to do of his good pleasure? Is it not written, and he says, who maketh thee to differ from another, and what have you, that you have not received? So, let’s go to the old fashioned way. Let’s go back to it, the old fashioned way, where there is love for the brethren, love for one another, excusing one another’s faults.
Let’s hear the music ministry. And as they are singing, everybody is praying. Let’s hear the music.
Old fashioned music in an old fashioned place Where some old fashioned people had some old fashioned praise As an old fashioned singer I began to pray And God had me and set me in the old fashioned way There was singing, such singing of those old fashioned angels There was power, such power in those old fashioned prayers And old fashioned conviction and the sin of faith And the Lord had me and set me in the old fashioned way So as an old fashioned being in an old fashioned place Where some old fashioned people had some old fashioned praise As an old fashioned singer I began to pray And God had me and set me in the old fashioned way That’s old time religion Yes, give me that Old time religion Give me that Old time religion It’s good enough for me Oh, give me that Old time religion Yes, give me that Old time religion Give me that Old time religion It’s good enough for me Yes, give me that Old time religion Oh, give me that Old time religion Give me that Old time religion It’s good enough for me It was good for our mothers, it was good for our fathers, it is good enough for me. It was good for our mothers, it was good for our fathers, it was good for our mothers, it is good enough for me. Oh, give me that old time religion.
Yes, give me that old time religion. Give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me.
Oh, give me that old time religion. Yes, give me that old time religion. Oh, give me that old time religion.
It is good enough for me. It was good for Paul and Silas. It was good for Paul and Silas.
It was good for Paul and Silas. It is good enough for me. It was good for Pastor and the ships.
It is good for the watchmen. Oh, give me that old time religion. Yes, give me that old time religion.
Oh, give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me. Yes, give me that old time religion.
Oh, give me that old time religion. Oh, give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me.
Old time religion. Oh, give me that old time religion. Yes, give me that old time religion.
It is good enough for me. Yes, give me that old time religion. Yes, give me that old time religion.
Oh, give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me. Yes, give me that old time religion.
Oh, give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me. Yes, give me that old time religion.
It is good enough for me. Yes, give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me.
Oh, give me that old time religion. It is good enough for me. Before you pray, how there was a difference between James and John, Matthew, Bartholomew, and Judas.
The difference is as follows. We are hearing the same words now, and these other people were hearing, and they were saying, oh, I am undone, oh, God, master, and they were praying, and they were receiving the things that were being said, and they were taking away all the nasty things that belong to the natural man. But Judas was saying, Judas is carriot, I love money, you are talking to yourself, this is me, this is who I am, this is who I am.
These other people were using the things that Jesus Christ said, to assert themselves, to pray, and to wish that they should be like him, and in the course of time, they became like him, and he declared. Now, you are clean, through the words that have spoken to you, they were in fellowship. Now, in the present day, if you want to be like those people, you don’t joke with fellowship, you don’t, after listening, you walk away, and stroll away, and said, this is me.
If you do that, you’ll be like Judas. There is something that was amazing, that was surprising, that even with all the things that Jesus Christ said, and the heart statement that he made, that sometimes said, one of you is not a follower of me, one of you belong to Satan, and that did not move the person, because he was saying, I am Judas’ carriot, I love money, and then at the end of the day, the Lord Jesus Christ now helped him to be possessed. So, this is not the time that somebody is just waiting, and scratching your head, and then pulling your feet on the floor, and then you are destabilized, you want the thing to close, it’s two hours now, and then we close, and you go your way.
And some of the people that live in the places where there’s, what an awesome world, awesome world, what did you do with the awesome world? Awesome world to yield awesome life. Over the night, and through the night, somebody will be praying, and then articulating, and writing, and preaching, and then all the persons’ life is under stress, under strain, and then some other person is thinking that it’s a joke. I plead with you, watchman people, let nobody go to hell.
Let nobody in this ministry miss the rapture. Pray like we pray of oath, discover yourself, discover yourself, fall on your face, oh Lord, have pity upon me. And when you do, we yield the dividend, we’ll be cleansed.
When you do, you’ll be like Mary in that day. A closing, I’m not going to make a closing prayer. It is expected that you pray, and pray, and pray, until you get satisfied, and then leave the fellowship center.
God bless you for listening to the perfect Lord of Liberty. Amen. God bless you.
God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.
God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.
God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.
God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.
God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.
God bless you. God bless you. God bless you.
God bless you.
